We were thinking of taking the kids to Chef Mickey's for a meal. I'm looking for some opinions on which is better breakfast or dinner?

We always go to Chef Mickey's in the moring. It just seems like a good way to start off the day. My wife likes CM the best because it is one of the only character breakfasts with all of the most popular characters.

We enjoyed dinner 2 weeks ago, everything was fresh and the prime rib was good. The characters came around to our table quite a few times, my ds4 enjoyed that. :cheer2:

We ate breakfast there about weeks ago & it was so awsome :thumbsup2 Mind you it was our 1st b/f at Chef Mickey's. I truely recommended!!!!!

We prefer breakfast so you can get close to the Magic Kingdom have breakfast and then enter the park :Pinkbounc

We prefer dinner. We always go to CM for dinner on our first night. :cool1:

We go to CM for dinner our first night too. Good way to start the trip. However, after my kids saw the foodtv special that included CM breakfast they decided that breakfast would be fun. So we are doing dinner our first night and breakfast our last day.

I have never been to either but on our arrival day (June 21st :cool1: ), we will have dinner with the big cheese ::MickeyMo Someone suggested this as a good first-day activity . I'll let everyone know how it was in my trip report.

We have booked a return to Chef Mickeys (Dinner), at the end of our next visit on the request of our 10 and 6 year olds.

Food wise - there was a lot for my kids to choose from and loads for the adults too. Interaction was outstanding on our last visit, (we had a late seating and there were only 4 other families left in the whole place, Goofy went bananas and spent about 30 minutes with us alone.....ahhh, happy memories....)

Haven't been for b/fast though.

We done CM's twice for breakfast and once for dinner and when we go next month we'll be going for breakfast again. We really enjoyed our breakfast experiences a bit more even though dinner wasn't bad. Just our opinion. You'll have fun either way though, the character interaction here is GREAT when we've gone.

Good luck and have fun!

Thanks for the replies. I like the idea of making it the first stop. I was looking for a dinner our first night in so I think we'll try there.

We did CM for dinner, and I was really disappointed with the food. Yes it was 3 years ago and maybe it has changed but it really turned me off for future character dinners, thinking they all might be the same. So I would vote for breakfast, and then you could just take the monarail to the park to start your day! :thumbsup2

We prefer dinner nice way to start our trip off. I just don't do any of the breakfasts so mine might be a bias opinion lol.

Definitely Breakfast! It was amazing! Lots of choices! The characters were awesome. We got pictures with all of them.
