Chef Mickey's Brunch. Good experience with late ADR?

While I've read several mixed/bad reviews about the food, our DD really wants to do this ADR. To give her the experience, DH and I are willing to gamble concerning the food. The only day it'll fit into our plans is with a late brunch time slot. Like the latest offerred, which seems to be 1:15p. My concern is the character interaction possibly feeling more rushed so they can hurry up and close/reset for dinner. But, at least they're smart enough to only take til 1:15 when the stated brunch close is 2:30. Has anyone experienced brunch in this latest ADR time slot? Or, are there any Chef Mickey veterans who have experienced any late time slot with them? Was the character experience the same as any other time slot? I also have visions of old crusty half filled food containers on the buffet (visions of buffets past coming to haunt lol). Any information shared would be much appreciated.

Brunch at Chef Mickeys goes from 11:30-2:30. Reservations run until 2:25. The character experience is the same all morning/afternoon. The food is pretty consistently changed due to the amount of people eating it all. The 1:00-2:25 reservations tend to have a shorter wait time for a table in comparison to the 11:30-12:30 reservations.

Personally, I felt like we were rushed. That may be normal for CM's, though, you know? Maybe it's always a rushed atmosphere and it had nothing to do with the ADR time?

We didn't like the food.

The tusker house breakfast was much, much better, IMO.

We did the latest breakfast seating and had a great experience. We sat for 2 hours, no rush, very few people there, and the characters came around twice to meet my kids.

I happened to have really liked the food as buffets go. I am gluten free, so it's not very often that I can get yummy breakfast foods, so maybe I'm biased...
