?? Chef Mickeys - Breakfast

Thinking that maybe we will do Chef Mickeys for breakfast on the way into MK on one day. My question is... If we are staying at CBR can we pick up the monorail somewhere to take to Contemporary and then from there onto MK?

You can take the bus to MK and then you can either walk over to CR or take the resort monorail over.

The easiest way to reach Chef Mickey's from the Caribbean Beach is to take an early bus to the Magic Kingdom and then walk to the Contemporary. The resort monorail runs the opposite direction of your destination, so it would take significantly less time to simply use the pathway. It is about a 10-minute walk.

Depending upon how early your reservation is and if you're willing to spend the money-I would take a cab. Cab fare is really worth the sleep.

If you take the bus to MK, you can take the monorail from there. CR will be the first stop. In the early morning that will be just as fast as walking.

If you take the bus from Caribbean Beach I would recommend walking to the Contemporary once you get to the Magic Kingdom bus station because from there you will already be half way to the Contemporary. Now there is nothing wrong with taking the Resort Monorail, however the Monorail station is located on the other side and by the time you walk there you could have already walked to the Contemporary.

If you are lucky, like we were, your bus driver will drop you off at Contemporary. We had reservations at 8:25am from Coronado Springs and there was only one other family on the bus and they had plenty of time so he dropped us off right at the resort.

We had that last year for our early CM ressie - but then everyone on the bus was going there so I figured that was why. Be prepared to make your way from the MK when calculating your times though as this is the normal route.

I've just booked breakfast at chef mickeys, and we are staying at akv's in kidani lodge. any suggestions on the best way to get there?
