Would you prefer Chef Mickey's for breakfast or dinner? Why?

Is the interaction with the characters the same?

I prefer breakfast. I'm not a huge buffet fan, but breakfast food to me is much harder to mess up than dinner food. Plus, you save a little bit of cash at breakfast which is always good.

I would skip the dinner. the food there is not worth the money for dinner. the characters are the same and the breakfast buffet is kind of hard to mess up. the only reason we went there was to get the photos and autographs done without wasting time in the parks.

We prefer breakfast too, especially the kids. The interaction with the characters is the same, but we are bigger fans of the breakfast food at Chef Mickey's.

Breakfast for sure. Dinner is way overpriced for what you get.

Both meals are awful but if I had to choose I would go for breakfast.

We've done both and prefer breakfast. When we had dinner there, nothing was terrible and we left full, but we just think they do a better job of breakfast.

we prefer brunch, if that doesn't work then definitely breakfast because we hated the dinner food. character interaction is the same.

We have only had dinner many years ago, but we are brft people , so I would probably do brft. As others mentioned it is cheaper if doing OOP, and wide range of hours is great, as you can do 7:30 brft and be in MK for RD if you are early birds, or can do Epcot or MK for a few hrs. and hop the monorail to do late brft/brunch at 11:30/12:00, and take a break, or hop to other park, or back to resort for swim/nap before evening activities. It is cool to ride right into your restaurant!

I'd choose breakfast. As others have said, it's hard to mess up eggs and Mickey waffles. Plus, it's cheaper. We got a 7:05AM (or 7:15-can't quite recall) ADR and were the third or fourth group seated. We saw all the characters on their first rotation through the seating area. The food was also probably at its freshest since they had just opened.

As others have said, the food is awful at each meal, so if you really want to go, save some money and go for breakfast.

We did breakfast a few weeks ago and it was great!! We didn't find it loud, chaotic or messy at all, as I often see it described. The food was fresh, the characters were fun and we all enjoyed it!

We did brunch a few weeks ago. I did find it a little chaotic, but I loved all the breakfast foods.

We always do lunch. lol The food is good. Lots to choose from even for the kids and I only go to kid friendly spots. I think the character interaction is the same all day but it is cheaper for breakfast and lunch. Not cheap, but cheaper.
