Chef Mickey's Breakfast or Dinner??

CM isn't known for their food -it is all about the characters so with that said, I would always pick breakfast.

their dinner food isnt that good but the desserts are! So if you a dessert fanatic go for dinner, otherwise go for breakfast.

I did the breakfast and I went in there thinking: "breakfast is hard to screw up, how bad can it be?!" ...boy was I wrong. It wasnt very good at all! They did manage to mess it up. The food quality & selection were bad. The food wasnt even warm, it was lukewarm. Honestly I would be too scared to try dinner....but if i had to choose between the two, i suppose i would pick dinner only cause i didnt like the breakfast. :lmao:

We've had both breakfast and dinner there. I guess between the 2, we liked breakfast better. Neither meals are really that great at CM.They're not bad, but they're not that good either. I did love the desserts there though. I'm not sure how much the menu has changed but we haven't eaten there since 2009, but my vote is breakfast.

Definitely Breakfast. Our first 2 years we did dinner and suffered through it. It was totally horrible. Best thing was the ice cream. So afterwards we decided to do Breakfast and it is good. Can't mess up that much except for maybe being cold but it wasn't. Different kinds of eggs, bacon, sausage, Mickey Waffles, and some other stuff.

We have done both and dinner was a bust but breakfast was great

I KNOW you are going to get a split on this, and PLENTY of replies about how awful the food is. I have to tell you though, we got a last minute reservation last week on our trip for a 5:30 dinner. I had very low expectations and went only for the character thing for the little ones so we didn't have to wait in the park to meet them.

I said to my husband= I don't understand... the food is GREAT!! We are food folks, we don't like chain restaurants and love all things great food, but I have to tell you... for a buffet I was very happy with this meal. PLenty of choice, good taste and variety for all. My daughter with an egg allergy had lots to choose from... the mashed potatoes with cheese were a hit with both kids. I say go for dinner! I haven't been for breakfast, but frankly- you can get a Mickey waffle anywhere. Make an earlier dinner and enjoy! (I' wondering if our EARLY reservation was why the food was good? Maybe later on it's sat around or something?)

I have always went for breakfast. The kids love the mickey waffles, well, I love them too. The food is average, it is a good way to meet characters if you don't want to wait inline at a character spot.

We have done both and prefer the dinner. We thought it was good! I am surprised that it gets so many bad reviews. :) The desserts are varied and fun!
