Chef Mickey's: Breakfast or Dinner?

I see many people raving about Chef Mickey's -- is it loved by most for breakfast, or for dinner? Are there characters at both?

THANKS EVERYONE! I need an ADR for early December, so it's probably doubtful I'll get in anyway, but I'm trying to make a long list and hopefully I'll get SOMETHING!!!

I do love both but I only could pick one then it would be dinner

Characters are at both meals, but we prefer breakfast. We just love starting our morning with a meal with Mickey!

We love dinner on our 1st night. It's a tradition.

I would suggest breakfast. We did dinner there on our last night on our last trip and I was not impressed with the food. But their breakfast is awesome, a great way to kick off a day at the MK!

I prefer dinner because I love their Mickeyroni 'n' Cheese =] and their dessert is fantastic, also.

We DEFINITELY prefer dinner! A buffet is too much to start the day with and cuts into rope drop! We like to do dinner after our day at Animal Kingdom or if we spend the entire day at MK we will take time off and go over for the early dinner the head back over to the MK!

I agree with everyone who said breakfast. We had breakfast there a few years ago and I remembered we loved it. This past August, we went for dinner and I was not overly impressed at all.

I agree that a buffet is too much at the start of the day. We have had dinner at Chef Mickey's and loved it!

It used to be a family favorite but we had dinner there last week and it was awful IMO. The food has gone donehill. If my kids really ant to go back there then I will be willing to try breakfast, maybe .

We have done dinner at Chef Mickey's twice and both times we had a great time and wonderful food. We are going in November and will have dinner there again, just can't resist!

I have been there a few times for dinner and thought the food was ok, but it was nothing spectacular like at Boma. However on other threads people seem to think that going there for breakfast is alot better.

My first two trips to WDW we had dinner and thought it was great.

This last trip, I couldn't get dinner only breakfast. We enjoyed the breakfast-lots of choices.

I think you will enjoy either.

Agreeing with the breakfast bunch. Our first CM trip was dinner and it was nothing to write home about - but the breakfasts are great!

I no longer do any dinner buffets with exception to Trails End with the kids as they rarely find food they enjoy at them.

DINNER!!! The food is amazing! You have to try the parm mashed potatoes! I just got married at Disney 2 months ago and had them at my reception because I love them so much!
