Chef Mickey's breakfast--any Peanut Butter?

I seem to recall reading a long time ago that part of the Breakfast Buffet at Chef Mickey's included a Peanut Butter Pizza? for kids.

Can anyone verify this?

I will be traveling with friend who has to kids allergic to peanuts. They can be in the room with it, but can't touch it or be exposed to any cross contamination.

I know that Disney is very good about dealing with these issues but just want to let the mother know before I make ADRs. She may want to just avoid it all together if there is likely to be Peanut Butter around.

my ds has a peanut and tree nut allergy... we had lots of breakfast buffets (not chef mickey's though) and no peanut products... but just to be on the safe side, be sure to note it in your ADR and ask for the restaurant's direct line so you can call 48 hours in advance, then again inform the hostess when you check in, and then tell your server when you are seated... a chef will then come out to meet you (and if one does not, ASK FOR ONE!)

if there are any items that the child wants which may be too close to a nut product for comfort (i.e. at chef mickey's ds wanted ice cream but the toppings bar contained a lot of nuts) just tell the chef when you meet and he/she will prepare something similar using precautions to avoid x-contamination... ds got the best banana split of his life at chef mickeys!

the only place we have totally avoided is dinner at 'ohana for fear of smeared peanut sauce residue from previous diners... and the only place ds had a problem was at breakfast at boma, the chef said certain pastries/muffins were safe and apparently something wasn't (fortunately it was a mild reaction and we were able to handle it w/meds, no ER trip necessary)... we reported it!

Yes, Chef Mickeys has peanut butter and jelly pizza.

My DS is allergic to peanuts and we have eaten at Chef Mickeys many times. We find every restuarant in Disney to go well above and beyond when dealing with this issue. We usually just mention it to our server and they take care of it from there. Soemtimes a chef is brought out if they cannot help us. I wouldnt rule out any restaurant based on his allergy, but he is fairly easy and he just sticks to the kids food anyway. If he were adventurous and tried many different things at buffets, then I might rule out some.

We ate at Chef Mickeys for dinner with our Peanut/Nut/Shellfish allergic child (I also happen to be Peanut/Nut/Shellfish/Egg allergic) and didn't have a problem. Chef brought my daughter's food from the back to avoid the cross-contamination issue. I have never eaten at a Disney restaurant where the chef didn't come out to address the issue personally and they always only attest to what was made on-site. We can't usually have the muffins, etc. since they are off-site and chef can't vouch for them. As an earlier poster said, we eat at all Disney restaurants except Ohana (peanut sauce and shrimp issue), Boma (too many nut items in general) and also the Japanese steakhouse (shrimp issue). Open grill restaurants that cook lots of shrimp can be problematic since the protein is emitted in the steam and carried through the air - potential for reaction...

I really just wanted to know if there was a Peanut Butter Pizza on the Breakfast Bufett and CamColt verified this for me.

We are very familiar with all the options and how to deal with the allergies, but thank you all for the advice and assurances.

We were trying to decide on which character meal to do and this was just part of the planning facts that I wanted to be able to present to her before we made a decision.

just in case you have not heard, the characters at the 'ohana breakfast have changed and now feature lilo and stitch... that might be an option
