We are having dinner on a Saturday night in a couple weeks at 5:30 at Chef Mickey's. We have eaten there before but this time we want to stay and see the parade and or Wishes. What would be some suggestions for a party of 6, three adults and three kids? Monorail? Walk? Can you go up to the roof and see the fireworks? Thanks in advance.

You can walk in about 7-8 minutes. It's a really nice walk. Much shorter than waiting for the monorail. The monorail could take up to 30 minutes to get to MK. You would have to wait in the line at the Contemporary, then stop at TTC, stop at the Polynesian, stop at GF and then get to MK and make the walk to entrance gates.

It would depend on what time the parade and Wishes was scheduled. We usually take about one hour or so to eat at Chef Mickey's. But, there are only 2 adults and one child in our group. And the Main St. area is the first to fill up with spectators for the parade. Hope this helps a little.
