Chef Mickey's alert if booked prior to September!!!! - PRICE INCREASE

Hopefully most people will have already done their Chef Mickey's but I wanted to alert everyone who booked before September (I believe mid-September) that they made a very high price increase in September. I was not aware of this and had made a PS in August for this past Sunday for a large group. We got there, had dinner and a great time, got the bill and it was WAY over what we were expecting. Fortunately because I had a large group I brought the contract with me just in case, pointed out to the manager what we were quoted for the price and she then told me about the price increase. I told her that I had spoke to someone a week before I was to leave (they called me) to verify that we were still coming etc. and then asked why I wasn't told then that the price had increased. She apologized and adjusted our bill but I just wanted to let everyone know in case they hadn't heard that the price did go up some - I'm a budgeter and it was a shock so I'd hate to have this happen to anyone else.

Like I said this is primarily for people that booked prior to the middle of September.

Dinner is 23.99 for adults and 10.99 for children. Breakfast is 16.99 and 8.99, respectively.

I thought it was alot for dinner too. It was approximately, for a group anyway which has the tip and tax included, a $3.50 increase!!!! Their reasoning was because they hadn't made any increases last year due to September 11.

It is unbelievable what Disney has done lately. It seems they are making the "Magic" less enjoyable these days. I know their business is hurting (as is everyone's!!!!), but to continue to gouge your loyal customers more and more is not the way to creat life-long repeat customers. Chef Mickey's is a rather simple buffet and clearly is not worth that much $$$. What a shame.
