I am trying to fit Chef Mickeys into our vacation and am wondering how much time I should allow. We are on the dining plan going end of Sept, yes during free dining- and we will try for the first dinner ressie available - I think that is at 5, but correct me if I am wrong ;)

We have eatern here every year and like to enjoy ourselves, but NOT waste time and will not buy the picture. I think we have been in and out in an hour. We are a family of four Me, DH, DD5 and DD3. Does this sound about right?? what have your experiences been???

thanks pink

Hi - I thought it was around 5.30 but it may well be 5pm - maybe it will say in the menu section on this site. An hour to an hour and 15 sounds about right though.

We have a 5:20 reservation so I think you're right that 5pm must be the earliest dinner reservation time. Haven't been yet so can't say how long to allow.

Yes, they open at 5pm. They do a little "show" with the characters and Mickey at opening. They just come out and announce it's dinner time. Cute, but nothing to go out of your way to see. :rotfl:

We were in and out of there within an hour too, at 5pm. Going later throws us off. They're always backed up and we've had to wait as long as 45 mins with an ADR for 6:30. Now we always get an ADR close to 5pm as possible.
