Is there any way to get from the Pop Century to Chef Mickey's for a 7:20 AM breakfast using disney transportation. A taxi is out because we won't have a car seat for my little one. Hoping there is a way.

Yes. You can take a bus to MK. Be nice to the driver and ask if he can let you off just before he turns into the MK bus lot; that will leave you at the entrance to the Contemporary.

You might want to verify with the transportation people at Pop as to when to catch the first bus.

We took the bus and it worked fine. In fact we were lucky and were the only people on the bus, the driver dropped us right at the entrance! We slipped him a little tip, after much protest on his part. I'll never reveal his name so he'll never get in trouble! :rolleyes1

If you want to take a taxi, just tell the company that you have a little one. They can send a cab with a car seat for you most of the time. We did this back in October and never had a problem.

Yes, the busses start around 6:30 a.m. for people with early ADR's. We have had no problem using the early bus from Pop or Sports. You will want to tell the driver where you are going and they will bring you there. We have had early ADR's at the Poly, MK and CR . Check with the hotel about the times and I would be waiting out there a bit before the time that they tell you.

If there are others on the bus they might be heading to the Magic Kingdom and not going there as a starting point for an ADR at the Contemporary, Polynesian or the Grand Floridian. So my suggestion is you should ask very nicely if you could be dropped off at the Contemporary after those guests get off the bus at the Magic Kingdom. If the bus driver says no then you could either walk to the Contemporary or take the Resort Monorail over there.

We were the only ones on the bus and the driver asked if we were going to MK. We said we had an ADR at Chef Mickey's and he said no problem and dropped us right off at the Contemporary. :thumbsup2

We have been fortuanate enough to have this happen. We were one of two families on the bus and the driver very kindly took us to the Contemporary.

Funny enough, when we went to Chef Mickey's in 2006, we were the only two people on the bus and asked the driver if she would be willing to let us off at that corner and she said she would be fired if she did that and we would have to take the monorail. :rotfl:

Was she being serious?
