Can you tell me what this is? I know it is a character meal, but that's it! Everyone I have spoken to say's this is the one to go to if we're going to do a meal.

Where is it? How much? when can/should we make reservations etc.etc.

Thanks a bunch! :flower:

We just celebrated my DD's 5th b-day at Chef Mickey's on March 2. It's at the Contemporary Resort. We spent all day at Magic Kingdom then had dinner reservations at 5:30 and hopped on the monorail to get there. It was pretty nice. It's buffet style. For me my husband and my daughter it cost a little over $70.00. They take a family picture before you eat and then you can purchase that for around $20.00. The characters are Donald Duck, Chef Mickey, Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Chip and Dale. Each character comes to your table and they will sign autographs and take pictures. They spent a liitle more time with my daughter since it was her Birthday. We didn't see hardly any characters at Magic Kingdom so this was nice for my daughter to have each one come up to her and wish her Happy Birthday.

Call 407-WDW-Dine to make PS. We have only eaten breakfast there and the kids enjoyed it. However, we like the character breakfast at O'hana's at the Poly better. The food is brought to your table instead of buffet style and the kids get to dance around the rest instead of standing in their chairs like at Chef Mickey's. The breakfast is about $18 for ad and $9 for kids. All include drinks.

All of the previous information is great but I just wanted to add that my DS's love the napkin dance at Chef Mickeys. It seems to happen about twice in each meal we have there; they music begins to play and all of the diners stand at their tables, waving their napkins around while Mickey and friends dance. They love it! How often do you get to swing a napkin around your head when you are eating a meal at home? My kids think it's a blast. I'd definitely recommend it.

We did the charactore Breakfast there and it was awesome. We have done it twice with our kids and to us it was really worth it!! You definelty need reservations for it!! WAY in advance!!
