We have been to CM twice in the past 4 months (and once three years ago). We have enjoyed it each time, but there are character meals I like better. If you sit in the outer area of the restaurant you can see the monorail go by while you dine.
It is a buffet - they server breakfast, dinner, and recently added lunch.
Our experiences have been favorable, with good service, and food choices that we all liked (we surely don't get our moneys worth out of any buffet though.
Yesterday at lunch we saw Goofy in the lobby meeting folks, Minnie, Mickey, Chip, Dale & Pluto. Chip & Dale are always fun and silly no matter were we see them, and yesterday was no different. (This is who we saw at breakfast in April as well, I believe DD is there for dinner)
The lunch buffet had:
Salad bar, fruit, cold cuts, assorted breads, a pasta dish, mickey head ravioli (I had not seen these before!), BBQ ribs & chicken, salmon, a spinach quiche type dishe, cooked baby carrots, summer veggies ( yellow & green squash), a corn pudding type dish, I am sure I am forgetting something - kids menu had mac & cheese, pizza.....
DD had pizza, pasta & watermelon. I had some salad, a MH ravioli, some rib mat, salmon, quiche, corn pudding (it was dry) and veggies. We did not check out the desserts as we both were full.
We were in a dining are towards the back of the restaurant, and it was a bit less busy and quiet than other places we have dined.
Breakfast has lots of good choices as well. I especially like the breakfast pizza, and of course Mickey waffles!
