Chef mickey without ADR

Hi,

My fiance and I have been to the world twice now, and are slated for a disney cruise at the end of january. We are getting to FL early and plan to go to the MK and wanted to go to Chef mickey's for breakfast the day that we have to board our ship. Our Boarding time at Port canaveral (~1hr away from WDW) is at 12:15pm. I have tried for many days to see if there are any ADR for Chef Mickey's.

Do you guys think it would be possible for us to walk into Chef Mickey's at or around opening and get seated by 9 am? (in order for us to be seated, eat, and leave by around 10:30)

I just canceled several ADR at chef Mickey's for the last week in Jan. Check again.

No, I do not think that you will be able to get into Chef Mickey's as a walk up.
You have a time constraint that day. I would keep trying for an ADR and have a Plan B as well

If you can't get an ADR for a time you need at Chef Mickey's, I'd highly recommend Ohana for a character breakfast. (I prefer it; DS likes it but prefers the Fab Five at CM's.)

Anyway, see the review at disneyfoodblog. Mickey is there -in Hawaiian shirt! - Pluto, Stitch and Lilo. What is great about this character meal is that they bring the food to your table - no getting up and down and standing in lines to get buffet food. And the food is great: coffee, juice, whatever you want to drink, a nice plate of assorted fruit, Mickey waffles!, bisquits, breakfast meats, and I don't remember what else.

It's so much calmer than CM's, and you still get to meet Mickey.

And, much much easier to get an ADR.

Keep trying for that ADR! They especially open up the night before, because people have to cancel to avoid no show charges. I have been able to get every ADR that I've wanted for all of our trips just by persistently checking. Good luck!

It is highly unlikely that you would be able to eat breakfast there as a walk-up. Keep checking though because things do open up.

I have been checking almost everyday for the past two weeks, but I forgot about the new rules and cancellations at the last minute. I will try to check the day before and see.

We have done walk up at Chef Mickey's twice, with a party of 4 - most recently this past November. If you are there right when they open you might have a better chance. They told us we might have a longer wait, but we were seated in 20 minutes. We were there at 7:30am.

There is no guarantee that you will get in, but the Contempo Cafe is right next to Chef Mickey's, so that might be a backup option.
