Chef Mickey Timing

I have a Chef Mickey ADR for 7:30 AM.

We plan on taking rideshare from SSR (I'm guessing we'd aim to leave around 7? I like to be a little early to things rather than rush). I'm not convinced taking an early bus to MK is a better option.

Roughly what time should I expect to be at MK after that? I know it's a 10 minute walk over, and some time for bag check (which I see is now on the walkway over?). Is 9 AM a realistic goal?

It's been a long time since I visited Chef Mickey, but we want to take our 2 yo. I don't want to rush through a meal but we don't linger too long with him in tow either.

If your planning on a visit from all the characters, that would be cutting it a bit close. You'll be there a good hour + if you have to wait for that last character to reach your table.

On a good note, youll be one of the first to arrive, so the restaurant itself probably wont be running behind. I would say you'd arrive on the MK anywhere between 9 - 9:30, especially if you make a pit stop diaper change before heading over!!

That’s about how I remember it- waiting to actually get in and then a good while for the characters to make their way over. I was thinking 9 AM was a long shot. 9:30 including a diaper pit stop is still plenty early for the rest of the day’s plans (and DH might finally see the Dapper Dans if we can make the 9:45 show- how he’s never seen them once in all this time, I don’t know).
