Have been to Chef Mickey's for dinner, and plan to have breakfast my last day there.

I have never been to Crystal Palace, and was wondering which others prefer for both dinner and breakfast.

Please give your opinions, and include which is more roomy. ( I don't like how jammed up it can be at CM's when a character comes to your table FINALLY and the DUGGERS family reunion comes over too!!)

TIA!:flower3:

I prefer CP. We went lunch and they have more food selection than CM. Characters interaction at CM was rushed but at CP the characters interaction was better.

I like CP for Bk or Din. Always good food & fun here . But when have to make a choice if I have to pick Bk or Din I always go with Din.

I voted for Chef Mickey's at dinner because my family and I have been there a few times for dinner and we thought it was very good. Plus we also like the atmosphere, character interaction was great and the fact you have the classic Disney characters there when eating.

No contest, Crystal Palace by far :goodvibes We have eaten there two years in a row and love it. We took some friends this year and they said Crystal Palace was their favorite buffet in or out of the World :woohoo: We ate at Chef Mickey's once and will never go back :( We found the food choices very lacking, the food was dry and tasteless, the soft serve ice cream was soft serve soup :rolleyes2 The beautiful, charming Victorian atmosphere of the Palace beats the loud, nondescript atmosphere at Mickey's. So for us, it is an easy choice ;)

I like both Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace, but Crystal Palace lunch and dinner are the best! Crystal Palace has been a must do for our family for a decade now. It is one of our favorite restaurants.

Love Crystal Palace for breakfast. We absolutely think Chef Mickey's is gross at dinner, but love their breakfast :thumbsup2

We have been to both CM and CP for breakfast. I think that you have more room at CP to walk around. I liked the food better at CP but can't beat taking pictures with Mickey & Friends at CM's. Of course, Pooh and Friends are fun too. I really don't think you can go wrong with either one.

We were not a big fan of Chef Mickey's. We had a late bewakfast time and it was noisy with the remodel and we felt that food was not all that great. Our server seemed rushed. Thought the food at Crystal palace was much fresher and our server was great.

I've been to all 4, and wouldn't rule any out in the future, but for me its Crystal Palace Breakfast!

Be sure to ask the chef making the pancakes to throw in some chocolate chips for you. YUMMMMMMMMMMM! :thumbsup2

My Order:
1. Crystal Palace BF (get an early ADR before the park opens and get a picture on Main St. USA and one in front of the Castle with no one in the picture but you!) And did I mention the Chocolate Chip Pancakes!!!
2. Crystal Palace Dinner (great buffet, carving station and perhaps the best dessert I had at any buffet, the Tirimisu)
3. Chef Mickey's BF (because you can't really mess up breakfast and who doesn't love the Fab 5)
4. Chef Mickey's Dinner (worst food of the bunch, but its Disney, and you're eating with the Fab 5)

I loved your breakdown, and amazing Disney spirit!

I did give up Chef Mickey dinner in favor of CP dinner, but kept the Chef Mickey breakfast for our last morning...since we don't know if we'll do parks that day.--TA!

I would say the Crystal Palace, but that all depends on what you are looking for. I say breakfast at the Crystal Palace is the BEST way to start the day at the Magic Kingdom, however, if you want to see Mickey and friends, you will have to go the Chef Mickey's.

I prefer CP. We went lunch and they have more food selection than CM. Characters interaction at CM was rushed but at CP the characters interaction was better.

On our first trip to Disney, our first character dining experience was Crystal Palace for breakfast and we thought it was SOOOO amazing! The food was hot. fresh and plentiful. The service was second to none. We never saw the bottom of our orange juice glasses and our server was pleasant and friendly. We were told how the characters would come to our table and to stay as long as we wanted. We have made it a tradition to go to CP for breakfast every trip (even though my mom says 'we don't have to go to Crystal Palace'. She doesn't mean it :) )

I liked CM, but it WAS really tight with the tables. It might have been a better experience if there were more space to move around.

I take every opportunity I can to visit with Mickey but the food & atmosphere at CM is not worth it. CP is beautiful & the food is good. It's a must do each trip, usually for breakfast. We tried CM several times but were never happy with the meals there.

We are usually the better safe than sorry people, so we have been to the Chef Mickey 3 times and have been happy with breakfast. We are trying the Crystal Palace for the first time this year and hoping for the best.
