I posted this on the restaurant board and didn't get any responses, I was hoping here would be a little more help.

We have PS for Chef Mickey on Saturday 9/4 at 5:30. I just found out that my Cousin and her boyfriend are driving up to see us from S. Florida that day. (Which we are exicted about)

My dilemma is should we cancel our PS and do something else or change it so they can come too even though the boyfriend doesn't like buffetts?

They may bring my other cousin and her boyfriend too but aren't sure.

Any suggestions??

If it were me, I'd add them on to your PS just to be safe. I believe Chef Mickey's is one of the restaurants that will not charge you if you cancel your reservation, so you'd be ok to change the # in your party later, or just canel all together.

You may want to try somewhere else if someone in your party doesn't like buffets. There are so many other great character meals that aren't buffets.

Hope this helps!

I'd ask her if they like to go, and I'd also try to get a definite yes/no regarding the other cousin and boyfriend and whether they'd like to go.

If they aren't interested switch your PS ressie to another day ... I love Chef M's but it's a bit pricey to take someone who isn't "into" characters and buffets.

Are they just joining you for the day. If so I would do Chef Mickey's on a different day or maybe an early breakfast before they arrive. I think that you'll have more fun keeping it a small party.

Hi,

If I'm reading this right, this is your DD's first trip to WDW?

You know, I have this strong feeling about WDW being especially magic for the little ones, so I'd do whatever is best for her!!! If you think Chef Mickey's is the best spot to puff some Pixie Dust her way, then let the grown-up people deal with it!!! The BF might just enjoy seeing your little sweetie swinging that napkin more than he will dislike the buffet, which really isn't bad!!!

Have a wonderful trip!
