Chef Mickey or Kona?

We have three other Character meals (LTT, CRT, and Princess Storybook) so CM would make 4. I've heard it's not the best food, and the only "new" character by day 4 of our vacation would be the Mick himself (LTT has the rest).

DH and I would REALLY like a couple of nice dinners (one is going to be Le Cellier) and were thinking of swapping Chef Mickey's for Kona Cafe for dinner after a day at MK. DS11 has even said he'd like good food over characters (too cool for them, LOL!!) and DD4 will have had one character meal each day up to day 3. DS18m won't care either way...

Any thoughts? Kona's menu looks REALLY yummy....

I love Chef Mickey's but Kona definitely has better food. I would choose Kona since you already have 3 other character meals. We ate there 3 times (once for breakfast and twice for dinner) during our last visit (6/22/06 to 7/2/06).

We love CM and choose it as our only character meal on most trips. If you are doing other character meals, then I would definitely choose Kona. They have great food and of course great desserts. Kona is always a relaxing place to eat for us. CM tends to get us a bit wound up with trying to make sure we get pictures with the characters and twirling our napkins. It's a lot of fun, but not relaxing.

We love the food at Kona, especially the sticky wing app. Getting to explore the Poly is fun too. Take a walk out to the deck where the boat arrives/leave and take in some great views, it's a great photo location too.

The food is superior at Kona by far. CM is lots of fun, though, and the food is pretty good. Since you already have lots of character interaction, I'd do Kona. We liked it so much on our last trip that we ate there twice.
