We want a fun kids meal early dinner/late lunch. Characters aren't necessary. Kids ages will be 12, 8 & 6.

So who can rank the above for me? Chef Mickey, Ohana, Liberty Tree?

I haven't been to Chef Mickey's, but I can tell you about the other two.

Liberty Tree - Home style meal with characters. You usually get Goofy, Minnie, Pluto, Chip & Dale. If your kids just LOVE characters, then this would be good. They serve Ham, Turkey, Mashed Potatoes - Kids have to like that kind of food. :)

O'Hana's - No character's, but a very fun experience! When we were there last year, A lady from Hawaii would entertain the kids about every 15 minutes. She would teach the hoolah, have them do coconut races, it was fun for all ages. While she is doing this, the kids can go back and forth to your table. They just keep bringing all kinds of food. Definitely more relaxing, better food, and a lot of fun!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Depneds on when you go but Chef Mickey usually only does breakfast and dinner. We did breafast and it was pretty good. Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald

We have not done LTT.

Of the other two, my kids definitely prefer Chef Mickey's. It's their very favorite spot and was the first one they all requested. Food there is decent but not great. It's very loud and very silly.

'Ohana I think has better food, but there are no characters for dinner, and my kids could take it or leave it. DH and I really like it, though, and your kids might like the activities going on there (the younger ones--I am pretty sure the 12 year old will think they're silly). We're doing both on our next trip, for dinner as well.

Done all three & Liberty Tree Tavern is the best by far!

Chef Mickey's is SO popular the characters really just go from table to table & really the same with 'Ohana. The food is good but nothing to write home about.

Liberty Tree Tavern is great food, family style & a lot more relaxed. The characters run, yes run, around the restaurant & spend a lot of time at the tables. They don't just show up & sign & take a picture, but they play around with you. It's just a lot of fun!

This coming from an adult who only visits WDW with adults, no children. :thumbsup2

O'hana's does not have characters, did you mean Liberty Tree?
:confused3

My bad, i didn't notice the OP said lunch/dinner. I was talking about 'Ohana's character breakfast. :thumbsup2

'Ohana's dinner is very good but I would still pick LTT. I feel 'Ohana is starting to go down hill. The last few times I've gone they bring ALL the food basically at the same time. It feels real rushed. Also, the food doesn't seem as good anymore. Maybe it's just getting a little played out for me. :confused3
