DD16 and I always eat here (for dinner) once every trip. The food is not exotic. Simple buffet food. Depending on where you are seated, it can either be fairly noisy or not too bad (we always get seated "upstairs" in the room on the right). The characters come around alot and there's plenty of time for photos at the table.

You'll just have to judge for yourself! We love it.

This is a great place for kids! When we were there, Goofy greeted everyone coming in and posed for photos. Minnie, Mickey, Chip, and Dale, moved from table to table signing autographs and posing for photos. Every 45 minutes, a little song came on the loud speakers and everyone twirled their napkins.

To be honest, I don't remember much about the food. We were having so much fun with the characters, we hardly ate!

Great thanks for the info!

PS. do you stay as long as you like or do they "kick" you out?

I don't think they'll kick you out, but they may give hints! Honestly, you will get plenty of interaction, have time to eat at your leisure, and be ready to go.

We took our DD5, DD4 and DS2 to Chef Mickey's about one month ago. It was on our first day of our first WDW vacation. The kids loved it so much that they constantly remind me that they want to go to Chef Mickey's on the first day of our next vacation. I can't think of any higher praise than that!

It's a lot of fun! Great dessert bar, very festive atmostphere, it's really fun to travel there by monorail. You really feel the magic there!

Deserts are my favorite!!! Is there a good selection of food for both parents and kids?

We had a great experience here. Food was good, nothing to rave about but filling and plentiful, desert bar has ice cream with lots of toppings and a bunch of little cookies and bar-type things. I was pretty full by that point!

The character interaction was great, ds loved when they sang. He was grinning this entire meal. Honestly, I think this is the first restaurant he stayed in his highchair without complaining the whole meal.

This experience was the highlight of our trip.
