I have finally decided on the 2 character meals for our upcoming trip. I was thinking bkfast at CP and dinner at CM. Should I keep it this way or change it around?Thanks for any suggestions

I can't exactly answer your question, but we just came back from WDW and we really enjoy Chef Mickey's Dinner Buffet. We ate lunch at Crystal Palace and did not really like it, and I would try the breakfast there. I don't know how the dinner is at CP but we weren't impressed with lunch at all.

Lunch at CP is OK. Dinner at Chef Mickey's is really good. I actually wanted to try CP dinner in July, but when I went to make the PS the latest one was 5:30 pm because that restaurant closes early. So we ended up with a PS for Chef Mickey's instead. I can't wait.

We started our first full day last trip with the earliest seating at Crystal Palace for breakfast and it was very good. The restaurant is beautiful, characters fun, and the food is quite tasty. By your countdown it seems you are going in November? I don't know how long the park is open at that time but I don't like to take away touring time when the park first opens because there aren't crowds then, but if you're looking at an uncrowded time, you should be fine. You could try an 8:05 PS on a non-EMH day or a 10am PS on an EMH day (and tour earlier and work up a good appetite).

We end every trip with a dinner at Chef Mickey's. I think it's wonderful and sometimes Donald appears at dinner (not usually bkft). The sundae bar is fantastic!

If you are early riser, one advantage of doing CP for breakfast is that you will be able to walk into MK before the gates officially open. We did this in April and it was great walking down the Main Street. Disney picture takers outnumbered the guests during this time. You will have an unobstructed view of the castle as you walk down the Main Street. Both CP and CM have decent food.

Of course the best part is the characters.

We just did what you are thinking of doing last week. Our first night dinner was at CM. It was a lot of fun, but I thought the food was just okay. That said, I would go again because my kids loved it and nothing beats having Mickey come to you.

Our breakfast at CP was great. I thought the food quality was much better. We had an 8:10 PS. We were seated within 5 minutes and spent an hour there. I have never eaten at CP for lunch and dinner, but I have had good luck with their breakfast. You'll have fun at both if you are fans of the characters.

I really enjoyed the character breakfast at CP. The food was very good, and the service was wonderful.
My little boy was 8 mo. old at the time and had a blast with all the fuzzy characters from Winnie the Pooh!!
It is at the TOP of our list for PS's in September!

We loved CP for breakfast. We try to get the earliest seating, that way we're already there when the parks open. We'll be doing this again in July. We have a PS for dinner at CHef Mickey's for the first time too.

Cinderlee - just noticed you'll be there the same time as us. Where are you staying?

Cinderelle. I would call back. I was able to get a 6:40p PS for CP at around 60 days out.

We really enjoyed dinner at CP the last few years. The food was nice and hot and we got a good selection. I loved the dessert bar. We have PS for CP on our upcoming trip. Its an EMH day so we have PS at 9:30. We figured we would hit a few rides first thing and then go for bkft. We have PS at LTT for dinner that night. We are hitting all the buffets in one day! Yummy!!!

Good question. I've eaten at Chef Mickey's and it is really really good. Kids love it as well as grown ups. We ate there for dinner. I would recommend that. I've never eaten at CP, but I think the plan you have is just fine!
