Hi we have a ressie at Chef Mickeys for 6:40 on Sun Feb 7th. How long would you say average for 2 adults and 2 kids to eat supper there? Also, we aren't doing a park day that day, we are having a "relax by the pool day" then going for supper. Would we be able to watch Wishes from the Contemporary afterwards? Is there anywhere to watch them from there? I believe Wishes starts at 8 pm that night?
Thanks

Well another factor about watching Wishes depends on how long it takes for you to be seated because even with an ADR it does not mean you will be seated right at 6:40 PM, since Chef Mickey's is very popular and the Cast Members can get backed up with all the other ADR's they have that evening. Anyway if you are able to watch Wishes on the other side of the 4th floor is the observation deck and to find it just walk past the old Sundries store that is being renovated, you will then see two doors that lead outside to the observation deck.

True enough, never thought about that. We have watched Wishes before, (last year) enjoyed it, but have decided not to do the MK this year, and do the other 3 parks on our park days instead.Thought it might be a good time for them to be able to watch Wishes. If we can we will, if not, oh well!

CR....in your opinion is the view from the 4th floor CR better than watching them from the Poly beach? We have a choice of doing either CM or Ohana that night so I'm just trying to maximize the evening.

TIA

I can't say one is better then other since they great in their own way. At the Contemporary you would be very close to the Magic Kingdom, so it's like your there on Main Street. However at the Polynesian beach it's a direct view of Cinderella's Castle, so you can't go wrong no matter what you pick.
