Ok I have heard how hard it is to get Le Cellier, Ohana’s, etc but I have been looking and NOTHING, zippo, for dinner on Sunday 13th 4-6PM time range. So I tried from Sun13 – Thur17th time range from 4-6pm for 4. What gives, this seems to me like a harder to get ADR?? I was able to adjust my Le Cellier 3 times, I even scored a MM “F” package and CM has NOTHING, I find this hard to believe, is this place all that???

PS, I do have an ADR on 9/13 @ 6:25PM and this day is set, was trying to get a 5PM but hey I got one…..

Chef Mickeys is EXTREMELY POPULAR. SO is Ohana,Coral Reef,CRT, 1900 Park fair,Le Cellier

Yes Chef Mickeys is one of the most popular on Disney property next to CRT. If you don't book those asap it is unlikely you will get in.

yes it is always very busy

Yes its hard to get a dinner time. I was lucky enough to get lunch time but would prefer dinner. I have checked constantly over the past month on the phone & since online dining started last week to see if there are any openings for dinner and nothing, only lunches and i check constantly throughout the day. I have had luck this week with going online early in the morning to get better times on my other reservations and had luck with two of them which includes Ohana & SciFi and got great times for dinner. My schedule is perfect at the moment and would be totally complete if i can get a dinner time at CM. I say keep trying because you just dont ever know when someone is going to cancel. When i found a 5:05 p.m. Ohana at 6:00 this morning i was totally floored and booked it right away (got rid of my 8:10 p.m. which was nice). After a month of trying finally got what i wanted:woohoo:

In my opinion CHEF MICKEY'S is the BEST all around Disney Resturant. Good Food , fun and The best Disney feeling your gonna get . LOVE THIS PLACE!
:cool1 :thumbsup2:banana::dance3::woohoo::cheer2::grouphug::yay:

I think that this is also during the free dining special that was offered. I know that when we took up the offer 2 years ago, I had the same problems. Everything was all booked. Had to just change eatting times around for the fam. It worked out, but I know the headache!! Good Luck!

SO, do y'all think I am crazy if we skip Chef Mickey's on our first trip? We are already doing Akershus, Park Fair, CRT, Tusker House Character Meal, and Crystal Palace. I went with WCC instead of CM but CM would be easier to get to from MK. I think my Dh would like WCC better though and 5 character meals is probably more than enough for him! :) I think the kids were only interested in Cm because they saw it on TV!

Yes! CRR, Akershus and 1900 Park Fare are all Princess meals! Crystal Palace is Pooh & Friends. Tusker House is Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy. IMO... Chef Mickeys is the best Character meal on Disney property. We always go for dinner. It is Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie and Pluto. It is the full Disney experience for sure!

YES!!!!! My family insists that this is our first meal on property on our arrival night just to get us in the Disney spirit. :cool1:

I love character meals to begin with, but throw in the assortment of desserts at CM--how can you pass that up?!

What is your party size? I've noticed that CM's sometimes doesn't have tables of 4 available but they have tables of 6 available.

Also try lunch. Lunch is available during free dining.

Yes a party of 4.......

I am finding this place really hard to get and this was the 5th placed I asked for on my ADR call in day.......:confused3

I am a bit confused are you saying you got an ADR for Chef Mickey's at that time and want to see if you can get an earlier one? If so I would keep it like that because 6:25 PM is a very good time, considering how popular it is.

I would take a pass on 1900 PF, if you're already seeing Cinderella at the castle. Looks like you've got some amazing ADRs.

Hope you can get your CM time squared away....don't know I'd say you were "crazy" to skip it, but it is a must to see Mickey and pals and CM's is just a fantastic, true Disney experience!

Yea, was wanting a 5PM time but MK has a scheduled EMH PM on this night so I think I will keep it as is, I was just wondering on this place as I guess I was lucky in getting a ADR, never would have thought a buffet was as popular!!!:confused3

I would drop WCC in a heartbeat for CM's. We will not be returning to WCC, but CM's is a must do every trip!
