Is Chef Gordon still doing the private dining? I thought this was one of the best things about HH.

Does anybody have the menu? I used to have it but cannot find it.

We were there over Christmas and they were still giving out info at check in about A Private Affair.

We did this last year when we went without DD and it was very nice. It was hard to believe he prepared such an awesome meal on a hot plate!!!

A Private Affair is a wonderful event at the HH resort. Gordon is a superb host and can prepare anything desired. While he does provide a suggested menu, if there's something else you'd like, just let him know.

Here is a sample menu (I don't think this is the current menu, but anything here is still available if desired).

I think...this is what I was thinking about in a post I made on the DVC-CB, which got moved - for reasons I'm not smart enough to understand....Is it??

Well, I guess it depends on whether you were asking specifically about VB (this dining experience is offered only at HH) and this is not offered in your room but is at the Beach House. I'm not aware of any similar program at VB, but perhaps someone else can provide an answer for that location in your original thread.

If you're asking a question about a program unique to a DVC Resort it's most appropriate to ask right here on the DVC Board (and it looks like that's where your post is right now).

Just curious - is this done in a restaurant, a la The Chef's Table at Victoria and Albert's, or in your villa?

Neither. It's done at the resort Beach House. Gordon "magically" converts Signals, the snack bar there, to a private, candlelit, oceanfront dining room.
