Chef de France or Marrakesh?

We like the food in Chef de France better. You can check out the food pictures thread before you decide.:thumbsup2

We ate at both and prefer Chef de France over Marakesh. The atmosphere is a bit more upscale and the food is better and heartier than at Marakesh.

We prefer Marrakesh. The food is very different in each so not easy to make a comparison.

I like them both about the same, but the escargot at Chefs de is the best appetizer I've ever had, and the belly dancer in Morocco is amazing! :lmao:

Last year we wanted to eat at Marrakesh but we picked all day were full by the time our ressie came up. I would say Marrakesh

I visited both during one of our last trips. I really did not care for Marakesh although it was a nice experience. The entertainment and surroundings were very authentic, IMHO. However, I did not enjoy the food at all. Everything was dry and tasteless. My boyfriend loved it though. He had a lamb dish or two and I did not as I don't like lamb.

Le Chefs de France is a fantastic place to go. We went there during our Christmas trip and really enjoyed it. You can't go wrong with a meal there. The wait staff is incredible and the manager was very accomodating when we confused our ADR time. We originally had one time (a part of the Candlelight Processional package), but changed it and I forgot. lol. They were amazing at getting us in and out before the show. The food was wonderful!

We had been told that Morocco table service restaurant was one of the more over-priced places and probably not worth it for a table service credit on the Dining plan. The suggestion was to try their counter service for lunch instead if we wanted to try Moroccan food. So we did, and really liked it the shwarma platter is very good -- lets you sample several different items. If you like gyros, that'll give you an idea of the food flavors. Then do Chefs de France for dinner.

Definitely Restaurant Marrakesh....We thought Chefs was Ok, but not great. Everyone at our table loved Marrakesh - lots of varietly and fantastic food! Great entertainment too :)

We ate at Restaurant Marrakesh once, & my DH & DS are in no hurry to return. I enjoyed it, & will sneak it in on them someday. ;) OTOH, LCdF is our favorite non-signature restaurant. We've eaten there numerous times, & we've loved everything we've tried.

That's kinda a no brainer for us. CHEF'S is awesome. Staff is very good. Daughter has food allergies and they were right on top of it. Desserts are heavenly. Grey Goose slushy outside @ stand is to die for. Enjoy wherever you decide.
