Cheese plates please!

Could I get a cheese plate from Jiko ordered from room service since I am staying at AKL? Or maybe DH and I could sit at the bar there and have a drink and share it (kids are doing simbas clubhouse kids club.)

You can definitely sit at the bar, have a drink and share the cheese plate.
I can't answer to the room service as we've never tried it.

Could not find a pic of my Cheese Plate at CRT 5/27/12...but I LOVED it... albeit there was a cheese with a honeycomb ...good but I don't really have a sweet tooth...

Here is my cheese plate from Mama Melrose...5/28/12... I actually LOVED the pickles, mushrooms and other items more than the cheese...but the cheese was good...and I kept trying to finish this 2 person appy by myself... LOL. Shared the appy with Hubs and he was a little woozy still from Star Tours....

I'm definitely going to have to take DH to have this!!!! I can take or leave cheese, but DH .loves. his cheese.

We just had a lovely cheese plate at the Cali Grill on Tuesday night. We also enjoy the cheese plate at Jiko.

Tutto Gusto in the Italy Pavilion Epcot. No Reservations taken. They have 3 or four cheeses to choose from plus Italian cured meats also. Full Bar, not just wines.

I remember seeing in a few recent dining reviews that the signatures are only giving three cheeses. Is this true?? I would hate for it to be. Maybe it was a different menu option?

I'm always looking for a great cheese plate at Disney, particularly CS when I'm not hungry for a large meal. I was happy to find one near the Fantasmic theater (where they also sell the usual popcorn, drinks and candy). It was great and I'm crossing my fingers that they still offer it in September.

I just got the cheese plate at R&C in Epcot. It a nice size piece of Cotswold, Irish Cheddar and some kind of blue... along with the usual sugar nuts and bread. There might have been something else as well, can't really remember, but it was GOOD!!

We had it while we ate in the restaurant, but I believe you can also get it just at the bar area.

I literally just sat down with some cheese and crackers and saw this thread I love cheese too, and my sister loves it even more. That's pretty much her dinner anywhere we go.
We had a wonderful cheese plate at Citricos, and I had a fantastic one at Jiko.

I'll second this suggestion. We stopped there last week and really enjoyed the place. I believe that there were actually more like 7 cheeses to pick from and the sampler plate gave you three of your choice. Also loved the salametti.

Methinks I'm going to have to start taking advantage of the cheese platters in the World.

We went on a river cruise in France in April and I swore I would eat every piece of cheese made available to me. The cheese plates at dinner would contain 3 different cheeses, very small (probably .5 ounce?), but oh were they tasty. There were always 3 big hunks of cheese available at breakfast and many times my breakfast would be cheese, a hearty piece of toast and a mimosa.

Calgon, take me away ...
