My wife and I have just been laughing and rolling our eyes at the reaction to both the removal and reappearance of the all hands on deck cheese board. It wasn't bad but nothing to rave about and certainly no reason to have a tantrum when it temporarily went away.
It was the equivalent of gas station sushi. The description on the room service menu reads, “international” cheese with crackers. Really, Babybel cheese is international?
Now the luxurious cheese board has reappeared and the conspiracy theories begin to fly and it's almost as entertaining as the wailing at it's dismissal.
As was mentioned on another thread, I don't believe for a minute that the disboard members have anywhere near the influence they'd like to think they have. On any given cruise I don't think the population is more than just a very small percentage.
I cannot claim to know the complete story behind the room service menu change and reversal but I don't think it had anything to do with the people here who threw tantrums. Disney is all about customer service, if they felt they made a mistake and there was enough feedback to cause a reversal, they would be all over the opportunity to show everyone how much they want to make us all happy.
The All Hands On Deck Cheese Board is mediocre at best, and the tantrums surrounding the accidental omission and reinstatement to the menu has been quite interesting.

I'm sure I'll get poked at for my lack of activity on the forums, and daring to express my opinion. We have been reading the disboards for many years. We visit many different sites to sift through the nonsense and glean information for our vacations, whether parks or cruises.
I would ask, when you meet a new person on your cruise and they dare express an opinion do you tell them to “shut up”, because you just met them and they are not entitled to an opinion?
