Cheese Ball Yak Attack: 2 kids, 2 dogs, 1200 miles - The Sequel

Evan doesn't quite have Madison's outgoing bubbliness, and was feeling a bit shy this morning.

I think every mom and dad has about a thousand pictures like this. "One of these things is not like the others..." :rotfl:

I wish I know exactly what they were saying here.

"...and then Evan yakked cheese balls all over the van!"

Again, my notes say this is where Bambi rolled her eyes and walked away. That can't be right, can it?

Behind every great man is a woman rolling her eyes.

Since we were there anyway, and Pirates of the Caribbean has a posted 5 minute way, and since Madison had all sorts of new found courage, we rode. Evan had done this in October, but this was Madison's first ride. She was a bit frightened. Not of the characters so much, but just of the unknown - as in "what's around the next turn". After the ride was over, she never showed that she was scared at all.

That beats my daughter. She rode the whole thing with her head in her hands.

That's when Evan debuted his bad a** side, with Grandma's Glasses, his Frog Crown, and all the knives at the table. Would you mess with him? I don't think so.
"Give me a milk. Chocolate. And make it a double."

Shaken. Not stirred. That's an awesome look.

Lunch was good. I had a "Bianca Flatbread" which was described as "Our house blend of five cheeses, garlic, basil, and oregano". Ummm... why don' you just call it a cheese pizza? Anyway, it was good./
:sad2: I think you know my take on gourmets. Anyway, I appreciate the translation! :thumbsup2

Talk about a golden ticket! (Technically it was yellow, or maybe goldenrod, but whatever, that's not important now.)

So what did we use it on? How much time did it save us? Was it as awesome as advertised? I'M NOT TELLING!

At least right now. I'll tell you in my next update.

Very cool! I'm waiting in suspense. But did you at least sell your fastpasses for Splash Mountain and Peter Pan for a nice tidy profit? :confused3

great update barry. last seat on thunder is the best seat to have!!! looks like the kids are sleeping in 2 king size beds!! they look lost in there!:lmao:love the pics with dd!!!

Madison was running for Tiana!!!!!!

Awesome pics of you guys with Tiana!!!!!!!!!!!!

We didn't see Tiana on Monday 3/8 but the following Monday.

I took Juliana on the pirates ride for the 1st time this day too!!! She loved it!! ;)

So far it seems that we were on opposite sides of the park.... We'll see about the second half of the day. :)

That front of the line pass is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! I was reading and I was like' I heard this story before' :lmao: I wish someone dumped strawberries on me!!!! :cutie:

WooHoo! You got the whole family on BTMR! :thumbsup2 I'm hoping to do the same in about 58 days. ;) Except, it will be my oldest that will take the most convincing.

Love the pics with Tianna and Naveene. It looks like Madison was really anticipating that meet. princess:

I'm going to have to remember to sit way out in the aisle while we're eating. Maybe some waiter will drop some chocolate covered strawberries on me. :rolleyes1

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Where will they use the Golden Ticket? Will it save them a booty-load of time? Will the other fastpasses be used? Where will the next character meet happen? How may licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie-roll pop? Where do babies come from? Why are we here? Are we alone in the universe?

I sure hope you have the answers to all these questions in your next update. I'm dying to know. popcorn:: :cool2:

Great Pic of the Princess Charge....looks like a Magic Moment!!!:goodvibes

Can I hire Evan to help us with some interrogations....we need a nice threatening figure:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Sounds like a great morning at the Magic Kingdom! Those are adorable pictures of Madison with Tiana and Naveen. I'm jealous that the mist waterfall in Pirates was working! We went several times on our trip at the end of January and it wasn't working any of those times. Oh well, next time. I'm glad Madison conquered her fear of Pirates. Can't wait to hear what you do with your strawberry pass!

Mike Teavee: Why is everything here completely pointless?
Charlie Bucket: Candy doesn't have to have a point. That's why it's candy.

I appreciate the Soap reference, even if you weren't making one.

My 8 member team at work ate a 6 pound bag of gummie bears in 2 weeks. this blurs the line between cool and gross.

I am really enjoying your trip report! The photos and commentary of Madison's visit with Tiana brought tears to my eyes! Such a joy! Looking forward to reading more! Can I possibly use more exclamation points?!! By the way, this reply is the first using my new Droid phone thing. I would love to have an iPhone but don't get a signal withAT&T in our neighborhood. Being able to use my cell phone while in my own home is rather a priority. I am loving the Droid! Just needed one more exclamation point!:lmao:MS"]

Woody:
Now you're starting to sound like my wife. I got the stink eye from her for not posting an update today.
(By the way - she's reading this. Hi Honey!:wave2: Love you!)

Hi Bambi!

HI BAMBI!! :wave2:

Hi Bambi! :wave2: You mean our witty posts aren't keeping you entertained in between TR chapters? :confused3

Hello everyone. :wave2: Yes, I am Barry's wife. :crazy2: He refused to comment for me so I was forced to make a profile.

Ugh, some people! I mean really...just don't know WHAT to do with him. :sad2:

But. WELCOME... glad you came out of the shadows.:thumbsup2

Enjoy the ice skating!

After we played for quite a while, I wanted to go in and get some breakfast. I suggested this to Evan, but he wanted to keep playing. So I suggested to him that we go inside and see if Mommy was still sleeping. He liked that idea, and we went back in. I came around the corner after shutting the door, and find him standing in the hallway, right in front of the open door to the room where Bambi was sleeping. He yelled back at me, as loud as he could, "Look Dad! She's still sleeping!" Not anymore, young man. Not anymore. :thumbsup2

This was a set up.

And he survives this??? :confused::confused::lmao::lmao:

Of course he survived this. What kind of mother do you think I am? :confused3

:lmao: That's great. Did you leave out the part where your wife starts throwing blunt objects at him?

There were no blunt objects. I love my boy. If it were Barry it would have been a different story.

I don't understand either. He looks almost exactly like I did at that age, yet he is still considered "cute" enough to get away with this stuff! :scratchin Hmmm, perhaps I shall send him in to do my dirty work more often.

He is way cuter than you. He gets all his wonderfulness from me and all the devious stuff from you.

Great update. Am surprised Evan is still around after the, “Mom is still asleep” incident.

Okay, what has he been telling you about me?:confused3

We quickly found The Mara counter service restaurant. The kids got chicken nuggets, Grandpa got a burger and Bambi and I each got a Turkey Ciabatta sandwich. (Grandma wasn't very hungry and just "helped" the kids with some of their fries)
I wish I had taken pictures of the turkey sandwiches. For $8, you got a very large and very tasty sandwich. You could get fries or couscous. I was feeling adventurous and got the couscous. I told the lady taking our order that I was pretty hungry and that I was wondering if only two cous-es would be enough. My notes say this is when Bambi rolled her eyes and walked away, but that can't be right. Can it?

That is partly right. I looked at you, rolled my eyes, smacked you on the arm and walked away. :rolleyes2

All in all, Madison spent close to 5 minutes with them chatting, getting pictures and autographs. She absolutely loved it! By the time we circled back around to where we had left the stroller, the line had grown considerably. Lots of people were admiring Madison's dress and telling her how adorable she was, and how she looked just like Tiana. That's when I started advertising a "shorter line for a shorter Tiana!" Again, my notes say this is where Bambi rolled her eyes and walked away. That can't be right, can it?

This time I rolled my eyes. Made a sigh of embarrassment and made you go get fastpasses.

Hi Barry's wife! :) Um, I mean Bambi. :) I know my wife likes to have her own identity sometimes.

Feel free to hijack your husbands TR. pirate:pirate:pirate: It's a lot of fun! :thumbsup2 So, what other embarrassing things can you tell us about Barry? popcorn::

Embarrassing things? Hmmmmm let me think...did he tell you about that time in high school? Oh, I should probably not tell you about that.:rolleyes1

What about that time in College? Or our honeymoon? :confused3 No telling those will get me kicked off of here. :rotfl2:

Hi Bambi!! You got a wonderful family!!!

Thank you.

Bambi, we're glad you're here to set the record straight!

We figured that one out already, though! :lmao:

Nothing. Nothing at all. Well, except for The Incident.

He told you about "The Incident" did he? Well there are two sides to every story.;)
