Has anyone read this article about out-of-control cheerleaders in Texas?

I wonder if their reign of terror started with the Pop Warner event at WDW?? I just LOVE stories about evil cheerleaders!

This reminds me of those "My Side of the Story" Disney books that feature the villains trying to defend themselves.

Anyone besides me smell a Lifetime made for TV movie in the works?

In the original link posted, one of the teachers is quoted as saying something like, "The gangs were nothing compared to these girls. These girls believe they can't be touched."

Then in the second link posted, "Dallas attorney Harry Jones, hired by McKinney ISD as an outside investigator, compiled a 70-page report about the situation. It included several tales of alleged bad behavior: The girls posted suggestive pictures on the Internet. Some of them skipped school. Others talked back to teachers."

I'm thinking, what kind of gangs are based in that area that they don't even live up to suggestive pictures, skipping school and back talk?

I love the part where the teacher asked one of the girls to quit talking on their phone in class...to which the girl replied "shut up, i'm talking to my mom" (the principal) and the teacher should "get her panties out of a wad."

OMG, if that were my child CPS would be knocking on my door, because I'd beat her butt. The Principal and the other parents are the ones to blame (besides the girls themselves).

you know, in a way it really makes me sad that we live in a world where schools from East to West complain that they don't have enough money to buy textbooks and lab equipment, and they can't keep art and music programs going because of budget cuts

but yet, here we are paying a Lawyer to issue a 70page report on the hijinks of a group of 5 parenting deprived little princesses who just really need to have iPODS, pink Razors, and LV purses confiscated and then be sent to the kitchen to scrub pans for the lunch ladies for the remainder of the school year.

And then they paid that Principal/Mom an additional $75k to quietly quit her job and leave.

I can't believe how long they let it go on either, you would have thought someone would have let it out what was going on. Though when I was in school it was exactly how the cheerleaders acted then too but it was tolerated to a much lesser extent and the same goes on to this day with those cheerleaders in the schools.

Wow...rotten parents for letting their children act like that. Kids don't get that way on their own.

My daughter is a high school cheerleader and is sweet, respectful, responsible Straight A student.....girls like these Fab Five give her a bad name.
