Cheerleaders next week?

I'll be touring 2/21 thru 2/29, and I'm wondering if the cheerleading competitions that are so prevalent this time of year will be occurring during this week.

Can anyone tell me?

Cheerleaders are due to arrive on 2/27, mostly staying at All-Stars, compete all weekend at WOS, and leave on 3/1 (at least that is what my step-daughters are doing). Ww're staying until 3/6 to get in some post-cheerleader time.

MORE cheerleaders?? They had cheerleaders last weekend when we were there from 2/6 through 2/9! We couldn't even get a room onsite because we were told the entire All Stars and CBR were block booked for cheerleaders.

It's really beginning to be very difficult to find a slow time at WDW anymore.

My DD is obsessed with Cheerleaders. She isn't one...yet... but loves them just the same. She had a ball talking to them, and watching them, and pointing them out.

DH didn't mind them either.

we were at the all-stars a few years back while the cheerleaders were there and didn't have a problem in the world with them....BTW; dd12 is now a CHEERLEADER herself!!! can't wait until we get to take one of those trips to WDW for competition..

MGM was full of cheerleaders,perfect hair and all, on Feb.7. The park was jammed. Luckily we were there for only a few minutes!

I was there over the weekend of 2/5-2/7 and if you encounter a park that is full of them(MGM was full as they were based out of there) try one of the other parks. Lucky for us they all travel in packs and tend to congregate in one park as opposed to flooding the other 3 parks.
