Hi all. Can't sleep. My nose started itching yesterday at work, and it hasn't stopped. Now my eyes are starting . I will not get sick 4 days before my vacation. Maybe calling off work tomorrow and taking it easy will help .

I feel the vibes , and I WILL NOT GET SICK! I feel better this morning. Maybe it was something at work making me itch. You never know what they're slinging around that place.

I'm getting excited! Today I'm gonna clean out the van and start packing for the kids. I can't wait. I'm half tempted to leave Friday afternoon and drive at least half way. The other choice is to leave between 3-4am Saturday morning. Either way, WE'RE GOING TO THE BEACH!!! and I know I won't sleep the night before. I love that kind of excitement.

Wendy, start taking that Airborne or head to Jamba Juice for a Coldbuster. I swear those things have kept me healthy when it was a bad time to get sick.

Morning Tricia. I'm feeling great. It was probably just exhaustion from work. The kids are ready to start packing . I need to start washing clothes tonight and finish up tomorrow after work. We still have to wash the van, get the oil changed, and everyone needs haircuts. We're doing all of that Friday. At least I'm going to be able to keep myself busy for the rest of the week.

I taught the baby (well, not so much baby anymore) how to do the banana dance . It is HILARIOUS!

Now when I come back from vacation this time, can anyone promise me THIS thread won't be closed down? I leave and ya'll have wild parties without me.

Van is clean. Bags are packed. Shopping almost done. Work tomorrow and vacation starts at 2:57pm. I would love to leave Friday afternoon but not sure how far I would drive or where we would stay once we got there . We could just camp out on the beach, make smores, and play pirates . Sounds like fun!

A trip to the Library is in our future today. My DS read all the books he needed to for the summer reading thing at the Lirbary. Today he gets a prize.

So, I just found out that my best friend is pregnant with #2! She's flipping out because she didn't really want another baby but I'm so happy for her. I think it will be good for her daughter as well. So, I get another honorary niece or nephew!

Vacation officially started at 3:11pm. The only thing to do is load the kids. The closer it gets, the more I want to leave tomorrow.

I have a whole steno pad dedicated to this vacation and another one dedicated to Disney. I think that may be a little OCD. My organization is way out of control . It seems I love to make the lists, but trying to follow them is another story. If it were just me things would be to a tee. With me AND kids things just turn to chaos .

Being a parent is like being pecked to death by a chicken. (Sorry rooster )I wouldn't have it any other way.
