Anyone have big weekend plans? I don't really, but I'm sure excited about having 2 days off. I'm hoping to take a drive to visit the elephant seals but everytime I plan to go, something else comes up. Maybe I'll actually get there tomorrow.

No big plans to speak of yet. Sunday we have a pool party to go to for my DS's baseball team. Sort of an end to the season bash. Tomorrow I'll be making a couple of desserts to bring. Now I have to decide on what.

I'm working on a credit union layout today.

I have a bachelor party to go to tonight. My partner, Scott, will be getting married on Sunday. He is a widower with three kids (11, 8, & 4). His wife died about 3 months after their youngest son was born (cancer). The lady he will be marrying has a son of her own, so it'll be a mini-"Brady Bunch" going on.

I have a feeling I'll have a slight headache in the morning, IF I will be conscious in the AM. The rest of the weekend will be yardwork and housework. Yippee!!! My son has a buddy coming over tomorrow.

Hi everyone. My big weekend is filled with work (vacation vacation). The hard work will be worth it though. I'm trying to keep my eyes open til 9pm, but I don't know if I'm gonna make it. The kids want me to watch Batman with them . I know I'll fall asleep .

So I got caught acting stupid today. Go figure. My house is down a hill from my parents house, so to reach their house I have to go up steps, across a path and then more steps. There is this family of lizards that have decided that the bottom portion of steps is the perfect place to sun themselves and I regularly have to stomp my feet to get them to scatter. Yes, I am afraid of lizards. They have become less afraid of me recently and today I couldn't get this one to move. I yelled at it, I stomped my feet and then finally waved my keys in front of it to get it to go. I was not aware that all of this was being watched by friends who had come to pick me up from dinner. They didn't know what kind of fearsome creature I was trying to scare off and when they found out it was a lizard, well, I don't know if I will live this one down. I was told it looked like I was swordfighting.

So how was your day?

Susan, I can just imagine you doing the "Lizard Dance"!

Well, it's a nice "Fall" day up here in New England... the temp on my back deck is around 65 and a cool breeze. I actually have a small fleece blanket wrapped around my legs! brrr.... It's nice in the sun though.

We may go to the 4th of July parade in Franklin today, but I need to go to BJ's to get some propane gas for my grill..... it ran out last night right after I put the steaks on! They just don't taste the same when they're broiled in the over!

First week of vacation this week, we're applying for our passports on Thursday. We booked our cruise for 3/8-15 (my spring break!) going to the Caribbean. Not on the Magic though, that's the only sad part.

Hi Jeanny it's nice to see you again. Wow I can't even imagine using a blanket in the summer. Enjoy that weather because it's in the 90's around here.

I love the Caribbean. What part are you going to? I went to St. Thomas for my honeymoon and we have been to the Bahama's twice. The water is so clear and beautiful.
