Um, Memphis is about 400 miles from here. Although I wouldn't mind hanging around Beale St. tonight.

We have plans to see PotC tonight.

Hello! Well, Jordan's MRI showed 2 hairline fractures. One on each side of the ankle. The good news is he doesn't need a permanent cast as long as the bones don't shift. He can continue with his ski-boot. This makes vacation much easier. No worries about keeping sand out of a cast. That would be awful

It's supposed to be the official start of summer but it's pickin cold this morning. Everyone else warms up and we freeze all summer. So, what are your Memorial Day plans?

Tomorrow is the start of the Strawberry Festival so I will be there bright and early for Strawberry pancakes! It's a huge event and I look forward to it all year.

The thoughts of having sand in a cast make me shiver.

Well, it's 82 degrees here right now and gorgeous. Samantha has her kindergarten field day today, so I'm getting ready to leave for that.

As far as the weekend goes, I have to work all weekend. At least it's day shift, and I get home by 3:30pm. (That is with fingers crossed in hopes the doctors decide to make their rounds before 2:00pm )

Bummer to have to work Wendy. You wouldn't believe how excited I am about having Monday off. It's truly a gift around here. Plus, I'm not one of the millions who has to travel. I get to stay close to home and eat strawberries, watch POTC3 and sleep in.

Nah, I don't think the View is enough drama. Maybe we could rehash the whole refillable mug issue. Last time I was there, my parents actually threw away their mugs! Can you believe it? Why would they throw them away??? Now they can't ever try to re-use their CBR mugs at AKL.

What are your feelings on crock-pots?

I forgot about the Re-fillable mug issue. I plan on taking my POP mug to the Poly. Maybe if I rub out the extra P they won't notice.

I don't have any bad feeling toward crock-pots. Only the c^%$ my mother puts in them and calls food.

Hi! I've been out and about most of the day. The sun never did come out here so I dressed for summer and ended up wearing a jacket all day. I went to the Strawberry Festival here in town and it was a little disapointing. It seems to be getting junkier every year. I think the majority of booths were knock-off bags. Anybody need a cheap Dooney and Durke or a Channell? I think there were Couch purses too if you like those.

Tomorrow is Pirate day so I will be enjoying my 2 hrs and 45 minutes with Orlando. Have a great one!
