You are all making me want to stay at Pop! Of course, I should plan a trip first. . . I've been going to WDW with my parents and my dad has an aversion to the word "Value", so we've been doing the moderates. That's even a stretch for him. :confused3

This might just be me, but I don't understand the big deal... the differences are.... just.... inconsequential? to me. I don't want to pay more money for the option of paying even MORE to rent a paddle boat, KWIM? If all the added on stuff at a moderate or a deluxe was included in the price, then yes, I could see it. But when you have to pay extra on top of paying more, I'd rather just be at the parks. Gimme a bed and a pool and I'm good.

I like your style Chris. :thumbsup2

Susan our in house Poly lover (Joanne) has even stayed at POP with the Disney Ladies Trip. Joanne how was it?

I really liked it. :yay:
It's lively, fairly new and alot of fun.

If it was my DH and the 2 girls the room would have been to small.
DH and I can't sleep on double maitress.:rotfl:

I'm hoping to get a king room connected to a double room. Shove all the kids in the other room. :rotfl2:

We were supposed to go again in February 2009. I'm trying really hard to go again in February 2008. I just about got DH to agree when I found out they are voting (School Board) to see if the kids will still get a week off next year for Mardi Gras. They always do. Just because I need it for Disney they are trying to screw up the process. They are thinking of just giving them three days. So now I wait....:rolleyes1

Hey, Susan. Quick question. I have a friend who is starting a travel agency (she's worked at one for EVER and it's kinda going under so she's gonna jump ship and start her own). I'm thinking of calling her up and telling her I might like to come and work for her. (Yes, I'm having career-identity-disorder right now). What do you think? I worked as a travel agent about a million years ago. Of course I loved it (never shoulda left:rolleyes: ). Would I pull my hair out trying to learn the ropes?

I think you'd do great! I took some online classes before I started working and they were only slightly helpful. I learned more by listening and watching and asking lots of questions. The biggest hurdle I had was that stupid, Sabre reservations system. If your friend follows current trends, she won't be using one since most agencies are moving toward only booking packages that include air through the tour/cruise company. We still do plain old fashioned air tickets though and learning Sabre almost killed me. :headache: I do think you'd be great and you could be a Disney Specialist!

Now that would be a dream job.

OK Chicks, I'm off to do my walking tape. :scared: I'll check in when I'm done.

I agree with you completely! My dad is just one of those people who will buy the most expensive soap just because it is more expensive, not that it's any better than the others. It's his mind-set but lately he has come to realize that saving money is a good thing and is slowly coming around. He had several years of not having to worry about money. Now that his income is not what it was, it's a challenge for him.

had a great nap and i come back to all this chattiness!
I would love to be a travel agent!!
I could never ever get away for a ladies only trip! DH might cross dress ;) haha he loves it so much!!

take care everyone!

Hey DMM, hope you are feeling better after a nap. I wouldn't mind one. An after lunch nap sounds wonderful. :goodvibes

*sigh*

She doesn't even see me anymore.

:sad1:

Heck, I cannot even*find* you. The new search engine seems to prevent stalking to a certain extent.

Now that I've lost my hobby, what am I supposed to do with all this extra time on my hands??

;)

Morning Chicks and GD! Got to roust the chicklets and face the 15 degree day. :scared1:

My FIL won't retire because of this nasty little habit.

Loved the shoes! (yours and arkmom's).

:thumbsup2

Now I really am leaving.

:teacher:

Good Morning Chix.

The day is finally here......................

I'm thinking the banana should dance for that.

Don't know why I'm so excited about it. I'm just cleaning and catching up on the laundry. :laundy:
