Fab I use to give a gift to UPS guy at our old house. His name was Steve and he was wonderful. Now I don't know the UPS man. It seems I always get someone different.

Six more shopping days for any of you still shopping for gifts. I'm down to one gift left. I hope to get that today.

Morning! I've got the day off! Woo Hoo! They are few and far between so I am going to take it and enjoy it! I have a bit more shopping to do so I am going to hit Target first. Then the plan is to go see a movie. . . but I wanted to see Dreamgirls and it's not playing here yet. I guess only in LA and NYC. I plan on having In and Out burger for lunch and then making a quick stop at Costco for Cheerios and a gift basket for a friend. I'm not getting a very good start as I am only 1/2 dressed (the top part, the bottom part is still wearing Tink sweats and fuzzy slippers). Gotta go! Have a great day!

Well, I am going on a cruise but I earned it by taking classes from Princess. The good news is, it was virtually free, the bad news. . . I have a cabin with a lifeboat blocking the window. I can't complain though, it's free!

I woke up super early and started obsessing about everything that needs to get done. So I thought - instead of being productive, I could visit my Dis friends that I've been neglecting for days.

But since I got up - so did (a whiny and fussy - and no it's not dh) someone else.

My shopping is done - my packaging not so much, as some stuff I ordered from Kailey's school came *yesterday*. Yeah, I'll make a point of doing that again next year - NOT.



And this time of year we get all kinds of UPS drivers (including someone who stole my christmas gift! Right out of the box! Remember the one that "fell of the truck" - not so much! The report says the outside box was found (after the failed delivery attempt), but no insides.

I'm going to DD's Christmas Party today. I'm sure 5th grade will be a totally different experience than the 1st grade one I went to yesterday. Teenager gets no party, just exams.

Have a fun holiday party, GW! I'm jealous - I wish that I could do that stuff right now, but I have limited childcare hours (basically enough to go to the gym).

Next year I'll have the joy of the utter chaos of a 1st grade holiday party.

Tomorrow is K's holiday concert. She's been practicing all month.

I probably won't be around much in the next few days. All of our students are working full-time during the holidays, so I'm letting one of them use my computer. I'll have to sneak in every now and then...

GW - I know, it's going to be crazy here next year. When Kailey was that age, we didn't put presents under the tree until the day before and only soft, edible ornaments on the bottom half.

Morning. It's another cold day here. I'm trying to decide whether or not to chance going to Borders at lunch today. My co-worker went yesterday and spent 20 minutes getting out of the parking lot.

Yeah, I risked it. And succeeded! With that, I am officially done with my Christmas shopping! Well almost because I need an exchange gift for a party in early Jan but that doesn't count. The Family and Friends are complete!

I have 3 cards to give out, and some stuff that arrived late, so it will also be sent in Jan.

Unfortunately, my box of halloween decorations is still sitting in my dining room.
