the uk is as wikepdia said one of four countries in the UK. scotland ireland and england are the others. wales is totally seperate from egnland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our cats were much harder to lose. They both got cancer at around 10 years old and died unexpectedly. They were best friends and the second one to go was just never the same after the first one died.

The pig I just feel sad because she was sweet. But not much personality.

DD is excited - she's finally tall enough to go on Space and she's figuring she'll be emotionally prepared for it in 10 months. She'll be 6 and 1/3 by then.

oh, the poor guinea pig! I hate when our furbaby's have to be put to sleep!!!

And I feel so guilty - like, how much money should one spend trying to diagnose and treat a sick guinea pig?



I have a friend whose cat has cancer and that cat has been through more medical treatments than most adults I know.

That's great to know - that you liked the ride at 6. When she was 3.5, she got freaked out about Pirates and the other dark rides and shows at Disney (ran out of Philharmagic as if she'd been seriously goosed) and didn't want to do them the last 2 times we went.

I hoping she got over that.

That's rough. I just hate the end part of illness - my parents had a dog that died on us and he was so pathetic at the end.

But I didn't mean to bring everyone down!

Oh, and last time DH went to Rotterdam there was a riot at a football match. I'm glad he returned unharmed.

DD LOVED the lion king show at 3.5. She thought it was too loud (like everything at Disney) but talked for a year about how Simba was really there and how he looked RIGHT AT HER!! She tried to run up to him because she desperately wanted to say hello and be part of the show.
