NLC started her trip report over on the Trip Reports board. Just to let y'all know...

Damn, I feel like SUCH a gossip...

Yay Jeanny! Glad it made it. :cheer2:

Did you have to chip in a penny or two for postage? I have a couple of 1 cent stamps in my wallet that were folded up in a receipt. The only time I have bought stamps lately was when I bought the post cards, so I am thinking they should have gone on one or two of them..... :confused3
nah, they didn't even notice. There wasn't any note on it for postage due. I don't think the Post Office is concerned as much with postcards as they are with envelopes.

We're all looking forward to a report!! :woohoo:

Good Morning Chicks (and Gents).....

I got a lot of shopping and errands done in the last few days! :moped: Christmas shopping is almost done. :woohoo: I just have a few gift certificates to get now. Life is good!

I went to Target on Saturday night after work, then both items I bought went on sale on Sunday, so I was able to get a price adjustment.

Last night, I went to BJ's and got a really nice, warm, soft blanket for Jacqui in the deep navy blue she's been looking for. And I got her one of those microderm gadgets she's wanted. I hid a lot of things in the garage because she doesn't go down there.

I'm going to the hair stylists tonight so I can be a little bit more blonde for my birthday!

:wave2: have to get to work now. chat with y'all later!

You fit right in with us... I'll have to sneak over there later today and read! It's funny that you mentioned her. I was just thinking how she started the driveling thread which turned into us as we know it now.

Hey Friends :wave2:

Finally got my package mailed off to England. $46 dollars to send presents that might be worth about $70. I don't think that's right. :guilty:

That's really cool! I'll have to show that to Adam.

I'm off tomorrow. I'm the only partner in all day today. The other two are out at seminars & meetings. I've got 3 months of IT computer-geek magazines that I'm reading through, and handling fires as they come up.

The only difference to me is whether I sleep in on Wednesday OR Thursday.

I just got called into my boss' office. She said "I don't know what you do in your free time. . ." and I immediately thought I was busted for Dising at work! She actually meant my time away from work and offered me a 2nd job. I'll be doing flyers for our groups at home, editing them at work and getting paid for it! :cool1: Any extra money is good money for me!

I average about 45 to 60 minutes of DISing per day. Mostly that's in the early morning before most of our people are here. During the day I pop in & out for 5-10 minutes. Some at lunch.

I couldn't righteously fault anybody for non-office internet usage unless it becomes a blatant abuse. That's a battle I choose not to fight. We're all grownups and we all know what we have to get done any given day.

That's cool about the extra job. What kind of group flyers? (Forgive me if you've mentioned it before - I can have a bad memory lapse...)

I work for a travel agency and we work with a local bus charter and do group tours all over the world. The bulk of it are day tours or overnight around the state however. For example, next Saturday I am leading a group for a day trip to the Crystal Cathedral (dangerously close to Disneyland  ) to see the Glory of Christmas performance. It's just a one day trip with the performance and meal stops. Over New Years I am leading an overnight group to the Rose Parade. So. . . I will get paid for making the flyers that promote these trips. Plus when I lead the trips, I get an extra day off if it is a weekend.

Ahhh. So you get to travel quite a bit? I do remember you talking about the Rose Parade trip a few days ago. KAMommy & I are going to attend it one of these years. When we have more time one of these years...

I've personally never been west of St. Louis (although she's been on a business trip to San Antonio).

You let me know when you decide to venture out this direction and I'll do my best to give you some good tips. I've never been to the Rose Parade either so it should be an experience.

DL & Legoland are definitely on my wish-list itinerary. I'd love to visit San Francisco too. If you could arrange for a track-pass at Laguna Seca race track (or the Long Beach road course would do in a pinch), I'll be sure to have a Corvette by then.

Yo, GW.

Hey Tricia! How are ya?

GD, you let me know when you get that corvette, when you want to drive it across country, and then I'll work on that track pass for you. :thumbsup2

Good Morning Chicks and GD. One more day until the weekend.

Coffee's hot and I have a whole pot. Any takers? :surfweb:

Unfortunately, I'm going off coffee (and chocolate) for the next few days to see if Madeleine sleeps better. She's been taking these 15 minute naps that are making me absolutely crazy.

All your holiday shopping done, GW? Whaddya get me? :teeth:

Now if I told you I would ruin the surprise. :teeth:

With three kids I had three different sleep patterns. My oldest DD would take fifteen minute power naps. All she ever needed. She stopped taking naps at two. My youngest would take a two to three hour nap everyday until he was about 4 1/2. So very different. :confused3

Good Morning Cheeky Chick & Gents.

Guess what today is everyone???????? yep, it's my birthday!!!!! party:
