Understandable, as we live on different coasts, I have two children, she has two dogs, and she's just a *bit* younger than me.

I went slogging this morning (slow jogging, as opposed to wogging, which is jogging and walking mixed), ran a bunch of errands (got Lassie for Kailey - no, not the dog, the movie *about* the dog) and am about to check to the mail before the baby gets up.

Shouldn't you be doing homework?

Oh, I'll tell you anyway. . .

On Sunday morning I woke up before Oreo who sleeps in my bed. This is quite normal. When I went back into my room to get dressed I found that she was standing up on my pillows and had wet my bed! A very large amount of pee was currently seeping through my pillows, sheets and right into my mattress.

After an emergency bed stripping, some resolve and lysol treatment on the mattress, and tossing the pillows in the dumpster, I headed to Walmart for some new pillows and waterproof covers. They are basically the same consistency of the bib they put on you at the dentist. I'm hoping they soften up but for now every time I roll over or smash up my pillow it sounds like I'm opening a bag of chips. I can't believe what I go through for my dog.

OMG!!!! It *is* just like having children!!!

And they make much better mattress pads that have fabric on top so they don't crinkle. I've bought them on Ebay and from Wal*Mart.

These are from Walmart but I don't think they are "top of the line". If they don't get quieter, I'll be looking for something else.

Yes, Oreo is just like a child in many ways. I am still wondering if she was mad at me. Why did she aim for the pillows?
