We're flying out sturday at 6am, but we head to the hotel nearer to the airport than here on friday night!

That's what we're doing. We're driving to Memphis Wednesday evening and flying out on Thursday morning. Flights from Mempho were $69 each way. Little Rock (which is soooooooooooo much closer) was $175 each way.
At least it makes it seem like vacation starts a day earlier!

All this talk about thongs reminded me of something that happened at work yesterday. Every Monday morning, we all meet for about an hour to talk about ongoing projects, who will need to help who in the coming week, where we stand with accounts receivable, upcoming meetings & vacations, any computer issues I need to tackle - a typical staff meeting. KAMommy is our firm's controller so she's the one who leads the financial stuff. She mentioned that one of our clients, a swimming pool installer, is starting to get a bit late with payment on what they owe us. I told everybody in the meeting that I'd volunteer to go over to their main showroom every afternoon for some nude sun-bathing until they paid up!

Obviously, I'm no Matthew McCaunahey (sp?) so I think that would be incentive enough, don't you? After the laughter died down, our senior architect - 15 years older and 100 lbs heavier than me (he says he has a physique designed for drinking beer) - volunteered to start going over if they haven't paid up after two weeks of my visits. We all laughed for a full five minutes.
