Checkout day - parking in overflow lot

I know this has been asked in the past, but I want to confirm - it is OK to park an RV in the overflow lot on the day of checkout, correct? With no fee? My mom said she checked and heard something about $18 to park, but that seems odd to me. Anyone know for sure? Rusty Scupper?

You can leave for your rig in the over flow lot up until midnight of your check out day.
You are also entitled to all Disney transportation and amenities until midnight of your checkout day.

We checked out and left the camper in overflow while we went to the park. When we finally found a spot that is. It gets crowded until they let some people check in.

You can also park at any of the parks in their lot free on check out day. You have a parking pass from the Fort.

1) Yes, you can leave the unit in the overflow lot.
2) As mentioned, good until midnight of check-out day.
3) There is no fee.
