Well it looks like it pays to check your ressies with the airline. 
I just checked flight documentation and found I could buy my Jet Blue Tix today from Newark for $79 instead of the $99 I paid a few weeks ago. So I called the airline and have a credit on my account for the difference. $79 because I bought two seats each way. The credit's good for a year
