Checking which UY was used for a reservation?

Is there a way to check online which UY you used when you made a reservation? I thought the trick was to modify the reservation for the same dates. When I try to do this my contracts are locked because the "new" reservation is over the 50% borrowing restriction.

Dont know of a direct way. If you know the reservation number, you can go to the "My Vacation Points" page and click on the "View Contract Activity Summary" under the contract you want to see, which will expand and show the "View Complete Activity Statement". It will pull up a line item display showing the movement of points, and what UY they are from. If you want to look at a different UY, change the range in the dropdown on the top of the page. Hope this helps.

You have to choose your UY from the drop down when you book. You can't mix UYs. They are like different people.

To modify, you have to use the contracts in the UY you booked with. Yes, I have messed this up more than once.

I only have one UY which is why I thought it was strangle that it was locked. Maybe I will need to just call...

Do you have different home resorts? Was your reservation made in the home resort booking period (between 7 and 11 months in advance)? Modifying isn't a loophole around the home resort advantage. However, some folks have reported that contracts were locked when trying to modify for no good reason. If this isn't a home-resort booking, you will have to call to get it sorted out.

Only one home resort and the reservation was made in the home resort booking period. I tried to call yesterday but the wait time was over 70 minutes.

If you try to modify a reservation that was made during the home resort period, they stay locked, even when you want to change resorts.

I have had to call when I wanted to swap points from a different contract. More often, I make new and cancel if using different points.

I had to call about that today. I tried to figure it out online, but for some reason my next reservation in September was impossible to figure out which mix of points was used for that night. I think it was because 1/2 the points were from transferred VGC points, so not officially one of my contracts. Thankfully the wait time was less than 40 minutes today (it took 3 hours on hold to book mini golf yesterday, ironically today I am pretty certain that the whole trip will be cancelled mini golf and all).
