Checking occupancy

We are staying at Windsor Hills through Magic Vacation Homes. When I sent an inquiry on a rental it was booked. They sent me other available rentals and we choose another one. Did our deposit and signed the agreement. Then I noticed after reading the details that the condo we rented was not for the 8 people we inquired about but listed as 6. I guess I didn't notice it cause we were inquiring about 8 people going and that is what they sent us. The condo has a king master, a queen 2nd master and another room with two queen/full beds in it. It SHOULD accommodate everyone. Not sure why it is listed as 6. We know we have 6 going but two are up in the air. My husband is nervous about us getting caught if two more come with us (they are teenagers). He wants to call. I said not to stress as they never check and we aren't even sure if the other two will even come right now. But he is worried.

So........
a. should I call?
b. Change ressies?
c. Just stay with what we have cause the other two may or may not come and Magic Vacations won't exactly knock on the door to do a head count anyway.

I would send them an email regarding the occupancy. Since you had originally requested a townhouse for 8, most likely they normally only allow 6 in that townhouse, but, made an exception in order to not lose the booking. If they made a mistake, it's their mistake and all your money should be refunded. I know that means that you would have to find a new townhouse, but, it would also give you and your DH peace of mind...

Isn;t there usually a pullout sofa bed in most houses that sleeps 1-2 people as well?

if the sleeping arrangements work for all that show up... then I would not worry about or give it a second thought at all! enjoy your trip

If it were me, I would let them know there will be 8. I am thinking since it was your initial inquiry and the sleeping arrangements will work, they will be fine with it.
