Hello all,
I think this is the correct forum to ask for input and advise on my current plan for my upcoming trip.
My trip is October 22nd arrival through October 30th departure. I am staying at All Star Music, and have 8 Days of Tickets with Park Hopper.
I arrive around 11am on the 22nd, I currently plan to check in at All Star Music and drop my stuff off, then have an easy lunch at the resort.
Then I plan to head into EPCOT for a drink and some shopping then dinner.
Monday: EPCOT with breakfast at garden grill, lunch at Regal Eagle, Dinner at San Angel
Tuesday: Magic Kingdom with breakfast at the resort, lunch at Pecos, and Dinner at Jungle Navigation Co.
Wednesday: EPCOT day two, with a focus on shopping and the shows in world showcase. Dinner at Coral Reef or Le Cellier, depending on ADR.
Thursday: Magic Kingdom with breakfast at resort, lunch at Casey's, then Disney Springs for Dinner? Not sure.
Friday: Animal Kingdom: Lunch at Flame Tree and Dinner at Tiffin's.
Saturday: Hollywood Studios with Lunch at Fairfax Fare and Dinner at Sci-Fi Dine In
Sunday: Hollywood Studios with Lunch at Backlot? and Dinner at Woody's Round Up.

Does everything think I can do a majority of the rides and shows with this set up with a leisurely pace? I don't really want to do the big new rides, not interested in the ones that always have 120 minute waits. I have been so many times that I have done most of those, I think Peter Pan is really the biggest wait time I will still do. Should I shift my days around at all?

I plan to do the early hours where available, but don't care to do lightning lane or genie plus. I will probably do a mid day break and go back to the park after resting for an hour or so. The major one for me is the second day at EPCOT, it really doesn't feel like there is enough for two and a half days.

I have no idea what crowds will be like when you visit but if this October is like the last 5ish, outside of 2020, it will be crowded leading up to Halloween. I presume you have your park days picked based on the MNSSHP dates and other mitigating factors. Given that info, it might make sense for you to plan some RD/park close attractions. That time of year, even rides that normally have 30 min waits may be 60 min+ so if you don't plan to do G+, that might be necessary.

I agree, I think a second full day at Epcot could be a lot given you'll be there on your arrival day too, so really that's like almost 2.5 days there. I would be hard pressed to spend that much time too but I know some people love to meander and visit every square inch of the park. Just depends on your touring style. You've got some good meal selections but the F&W festival will still be going on in October, do you plan to do any booth eats? You may not need all those sit down/QS meals at epcot.

Also, are you just going to wing hopping? I didn't see any PH plans in your notes but you mentioned you have 8 days PH tix.

I did have my Magic Kingdom days as far away from Halloween as possible to try to mitigate as much as I can. I wasn't really planning any PH in particular, since I am there for so long. It was mostly to allow me to skip out of a park if it is too busy to a less busy one. I went last in 2021, and I was able to get through so much on my own that I found myself needing to park hop just to mix up the day. I was considering making my Magic Kingdom and Epcot days mixed days, with a morning in MK and then hop over to EPCOT for dinner. I have a hard time planning it.

I might have to give in on Genie Plus, I have a $5000 budget for food, and souvenirs. That is a decent size that I could probably just use it.

Wow, I need to take my trips with you lol- I know you'll be there longer than we usually are but I usually budget about $600 for food/souvenirs for most 4ish night trips. I don't know how many ppl are in your party but I would rather spend the $ on G+/iLL$ than PH tix but yes, if you have room in the budget, it might be worth it and at least the nice thing is you don't have to pre-purchase G+.

I recently got very lucky in a new career path, and the resulting sign on bonus is paying for my trip. My last trip in 2021 was around 1500$ and I barely had enough to buy a few shirts, crazy how things changed!

It is just me in the party, my wife is not a WDW person so I am going alone. I will be more open to G+ to save some time, I am just slow to new Disney things lol. I still haven't rode Runaway Rail! I will keep my eye on Genie+ and consider it while down there.
