My trip is just around the corner, and as I sit dazing at my reservation confirmation, I notice at the top it says "Welcome, Disney Club Member!" I used the CQL code that was posted on Mousesavers some time back, and made the reservation without any problem.

Are they going to ask me for my Disney Club i.d. when I check in? Anybody else use this code, and how did it go?

Bumping this to the top to get hegfam an answer. :)

i tried to find the code on mousesavers to see if it was just for a certain group. but i couldnt find the code.
did the code say only for disney club members?
are you a member of the disney club? if so, that may explain it. once you join you are in their system as a member. and everything you do will tell them you are a member. (ie: everytime i log into disney site it tells them i am a member) if you are a member take your card just in case.

CQL was a State Code (but I can't remember for which state!!) It was *not* a Disney Club code... hope that helps!

Yes, it was offered to a few select states according to Mousesaver's. They didn't ask anything about being a Disney Club member when I made the reservation. I was a member some years back, but I doubt that shows up now. I would think if the code was tied to club membership, the CM would have said to make sure I bring my club card with me, etc.

Still seems strange to see that message on my ressie though.

I made a ressie for Nov 1-3 using the Mickey Monitor (AP) rate and the written confirmation came back with FL resident on it. So, I called CRO and asked them about it--I said I wasn't a FL resident, was the wrong code inputed? CM said his computer was showing my code to be a Mickey Monitor (AP) rate....So, since I have the Mickey Monitor (and the code is printed in the Mickey Monitor)--I will just take it with me in case there are any questions at check in.
Another possiblity is maybe you made your ressies through the DC side of reservations... I think I read in Deb Will's description that it is possible to get switched to the DC section even when calling CRO.

For some reason Disney's confirmations often contain mistakes. Confirmations that should not have any restrictions will sometimes have messages saying "show state ID at check in" or "pay in advance" -- or in your case "Disney Club." But if you call CRO and check, they'll tell you it's a mistake, and to disregard this.

In all honesty I can't remember what the restrictions on that code were, if any. As long as you followed the published rules for the code, you'll be fine. Anyway, if you're not a Disney Club member, you wouldn't have been able to book a Disney Club rate. They ask for your DC number when you reserve. (Unlike Annual Pass rates, for instance, where they don't ask for any proof.)

Beats me why Disney's system is so messed up sometimes.

However, just to be on the safe site, I would suggest that you call CRO and ask them about it.
