Checking in twice at the same resort

Quick question. I have a room only reservation for our first night at the Beach Club and a free dining reservation for the last 7 nights. I know we can only check in for the first night on the first day we arrive, but when can we check in and get tickets and dining vouchers for the next day when we will actually hit the parks? Can we check in before going to the parks that day and just leave our bags with them to go in the room when it is ready? What are the odds of them keeping us in the same room and not having to check in twice?

You should have no trouble staying in the same room. You'll still need to go to the front desk in the morning and check out and then check in on the package. You can do this first thing in the morning ang get your keys with your tickets on them.

I have never had trouble staying in the same room with two reservations, but I've never stayed at Beach Club. You might want to call back and have them add to the 1 night reservation that you will be staying at the same resort on a 7 night package the next day.

I think this is a very simple thing that you don't need to worry about. It happens all the time.

The only reason you might have to change rooms is if you are booked in different room categories. For example, if your first night is a water view, but your package is standard view, there is a chance you might have to change. But if both reservations are water view, or both standard, you should be OK.

If you have to keep it as 2 reservations, you can check in to the 2nd one at about 6 or 7 am. Plenty of time to get into the parks

I had two ressies once at POFQ and we were allowed to keep our same room.

I would perhaps mention it when you first check in that you have a 2nd ressie and would prefer to keep your room when you come back the next day to check out and in again. I did that and they pretty much assured me it wouldn't be a problem.

We were at All Star Sports the week after Easter. I had two separate reservations and we had to change rooms. I asked at check-in to stay in the same room and they said they had a sports team coming in and they reserved the entire bldg 10. I checked again the morning of the change and they said no. We got keys to a room in tennis. It was ok, we had a car so we just moved.

We are staying at the All Star Music August 23 thru 31. Because of the Free Dining starting on the 26th I had to make two ressies. The CM said that I would be checking out on the 26th and checking in on the 26th on paper. However, she said to make certian, that I mention it when I check in on the 23rd of August.
