Checking-In on Christmas Day

Any answers would be much appreciated, and thank you in advance.

How many people are checking into Disney hotels on Christmas day? Have you ever seen if there re a large amount of check-ins or check-outs on Christmas day? Give me some information on this.

Travel, including checking in/out of hotels is usually the quietest on the actual day of any holiday, and the busiest on the days immediately before and after. So you should be lucky with relatively quiet airports and check in counters. Merry Christmas.

Not at Disney. We have spent Christmas at Disney since '07 and leave to go home on either the 26th or 27th. When we've wandered through the lobby of our resort (WL, Poly, BW, CR) on Christmas Day, there have been very long lines to check in, especially in the afternoon/evenings. Many, many people wake up at home Christmas morning, and tell their kids "Surpise, we're going to Disney..... TODAY!" One year at WL, at around 6 p.m. the line to check in snaked to the main entrance to the resort. DH and I always say we are happy to be leaving, considering the huge influx of guests arriving on the 25th.

OP, from what I have personally observed, lines to check in will be very long.

We are checking in on Christmas also...of course we won't be arriving until late at night.
