Checking in luggage

Help!! I am so confused. I am starting to think of real issues now instead of day dreaming about castaway cay. I was wondering what luggage you check at the port? Will they take the booster seats? The girls also have these really cute wheeled backpacks that they bring on the plane. Will they take those? Will they get lost because they are so small? I am starting to feel overwhelmed with all the details! Of course if I am going to feel overwhelmed I can't think of a better reason!

the guy who takes your luggage will give you tags for the little bags. They shouldn't get lost at all. Put a tag on the booster seat and that should arrive as well. Don't feel overwhelmed, it will all come together.

Out of 11 DCL cruises we only had one bag "misplaced" for a few hours and that was on the crazy 9/27 Magic that left from Ft. Lauderdale.....it was waiting for us at Guest Service when I called and inquired about it.

Remember, the only ships that will be at the Disney terminal are the Magic or Wonder on any given day so your luggage is never really "lost"...sometimes they wind up on another deck but if it is on the ship they will find it!!!!

Here is a link to a pic we took of them offloading luggage back into the terminal....they use the same process for bringing the luggage on the ship. If you board and look over deck 4 railing on the terminal side you will see all these forklifts buzzing around loading the luggage onto the ship...once we even saw ours being loaded!!! I know it was mine because mine are very easy to spot...they have Mickey all over it!!!
