Checking in at Wilderness Lodge...Thanksgiving

We will be checking in at WL the day after Thanksgiving!!

It's our first time! I am sure many people will be checking out that day...does that affect check in procedures? In other words...will the CMs be extra extra busy if many are checking out....or are check ins and outs done in different areas? Hope that makes sense??

Also, because I am thinking this will be a busy check out day...would you suggest a good time for us to check in...we live in FL...so we can get there at any time!

We are booked for a courtyard view...and would love to know if the "lobby" rooms are courtyard views as well? And are they worth requesting?

Most people do express check out, which means that they get their bil deilvered to their room so they don't have to physically check out at the front desk. Official check out time is 11am so around that time is when you will find the busiest time at the front desk with check in/check out crossover. You can check in (pre-register) as early as 7am, even if the room is not ready, they will get you to sign your registration card and issue you your Key to The World ID cards. As for your question about courtyard view rooms in the lobby area. Yes, there are a handful and they are nice rooms/views. It wouldn't hurt to ask for one, but don't have your heart set on one as there are not many
