Checking in at GF RPC ???

Being the lounge is on the 4th floor, can I request a room on that floor. I know it wouldn't be guarenteed, but what do you think my chances are of getting it. We'll be there in early july & I did not request it when I first made my ressies. Should I call WDTC & mention it. THe RPC staff never contacted me for anything & I'm not sure there supposed to or not., so should I contact them. Other than 1 ps that I can't seem to get on my own, this is the only request that I would want. Or should I just fax a room request 2-3 days before arrival. THanks in advance....

I would definitely think you can fax in a room request for a room on the 4th floor (presuming it's not an all-suite floor or some other reason). They won't guarantee it, but they'll do their best. I think you need to fax it in 48 hours before you arrive, but not too sure about this timescale.

Regarding contacting concierge, I emailed them this week regarding our August trip, as I had not heard from them. I got a response a few days later. Since then, they've been incredibly helpful and have gotten me all my PS's and the Fantasmic package at the Brown Derby (which my CM says are thin on the ground and booking up fast for August).

I would go ahead and give them a call or an email and see if they can help with your PS.

I faxed them a room request 3 days before our scheduled arrival date. I also wanted 4th floor plus a castle view. We were very lucky to get room #4404, which met both our requests. There's a range of rooms, I believe they are 4401 through 4409, which have an incredible view of the Magic Kingdom. They were a longer walk to the elevators and lounge area, but on the plus side, there were no rooms above you and you didn't get any noise from the lounge.

I would call now to inform them of any priority seating arrangements that you want to make, and I found this out to on our last trip, that ps's made through concierge are marked as VIP's. And I thought it was just my winning smile that got me the great seats
